Is there any way to help push a region to spawn you more WQs?
I'm less than 1k rep from finishing High Mountain, but the last couple days I've only gotten 3-4 WQs in the zone for HM rep and another 3-4 that are for other factions. I've been ignoring the other stuff, but am I better off completing those to help get more HM quests to spawn or does it not matter and it's all on timers?

Yeah, this was a little confusing for me in Legion as well. I believe the BfA ones work similarly where all the WQ's in enemy lands give your war faction, and all the WQ's on each of your friendly islands give the rep associated with the zone. (In addition to the listed rep if applicable)
I thought you meant story setup and I was gonna laugh. Alliance has no fucking clue why we're in there, other than purples. Literally none.
Yeah, the trash is blessedly short from what we saw, except the crap on Zul's platform. I agree, first impression is it's a pretty nice raid so far. We made it to Zul last night and got a few pulls on him before we had to call it.
That's what you get for being Alliance.
Uldir is basically the culmination of the entire Horde leveling experience.
I found this kinda funny as well. There is basically zero lead up for the alliance to uldir and nobody has a fucking clue of who or what g'huun is.

It gives rep for both. All WQs in a zone give rep with that zone's faction, and if they're listed as for another faction they will give additional rep with the listed faction.
Tortollan rep WQs always give Tortollan + Zone Rep. This means doing Tortollan on the enemy continent will give Honorbound or SI7 (or whatever it's called) for rep.
Champions of Azeroth will always give Champsion + Zone rep. Same as above for enemy continent.
If by "heavily rumored" you mean "the devs said so at Blizzcon".
I mean, to be fair, blizzard has said tons of stuff at blizzcons that didn't turn out to be true *cough*warlords*cough*.

So the latency problem has finally gone away in Arathi. Ran around doing quests and killing all sorts of 'rare' enemies. It's fun starting a fight (because nobody else will) and seeing TONS of players flock in. I am a leader!
Unfortunately I guess the Alliance 'won' the engagement for now so I can't do the scenario. The Horde has to fill a progress bar that I can see. In the last hour they went from 32% to 32%.

Yes, the Alliance started "in control" once the Warfront went live. The idea here is that it'll generally switch every few days, I wouldn't watch the bar since it's not gonna move much in an hour. That's ~33% in a bit over a day so 4 days or so? Sounds about right and in line with what they said.
First raidnight and the only thing that dropped was my will to play. We had at least one decent moment in Uldir and it's not a completely terrible raid but all I was really feeling was boredom and that's not a good sign. It ended up convincing me that I'm probably better off taking this tier, and possibly the rest of the expansion, off from progression stuff.

I thought the bar was being filled by the non daily dailies?
Once we gather enough fish and saddles you alliance dogs are fucked.

By the way funny detail I noticed. There's a contingent of Forsaken Troops in Arathi called "The Defilers." You know what happens when you beat them near death? They run away. Because the Forsaken are cowards who can only fight when they have their stupid plague.

It's really nice going back to a part of the game that's old and familiar but has been made relevant again. I wouldn't want the ENTIRE game built that way because things aren't special. But returning to Arathi is great. That place has a lot of memories for me stretching back to Vanilla WoW. I got some of my first PvP kills there. "Druid at (wherever), free honor!"
The only old thing I miss from the actual world is Azshara for some reason.

At least I got the funny-aside just now. The moonkin on one of these islands takes me back to Cataclysm Plaguelands. "GET READY FOR DE MOONFIRE."

I just got a quest to go to Azshara, out of nowhere. I took the portal to Silithis, jumped to the flight point at the very tip of Uldum, and am flying up to Ashenvale.
You guys. Old world flightpaths are SO. SLOW. I'm writing messages to the general chats I pass through once in a while to prevent getting afk-disconnected.
I just got a quest to go to Azshara, out of nowhere. I took the portal to Silithis, jumped to the flight point at the very tip of Uldum, and am flying up to Ashenvale.

Man oh man is there a full moon out tonight for island expeditions. Every group I had, except for the first, had one or two people being total jackoffs or idiots. In my last one, one of our guys was AFK right at the start. You have to manually accept to join into an actual scenario (unless mods auto-accept now and create this problem). So that shit was on purpose. Then our replacement guy was a dingdong who would get knocked back from a boss during fights, and rather run back to it he would like forget about it and start running around to open more chests / tap mines / gather more enemies while we're already engaged with the Horde and boss at the same time.
