Can I buy PC hardware from any vendors at PAX?

VerciauVerciau Registered User new member
Hi everyone, I've been to PAX a few times but never came across this. I've seen PC hardware companies showcasing their new stuff but I've never asked, Can you actually buy these things? If so, are there any sort of deals they offer?

I'm looking for a new SSD and I'll be at PAX BYOC so if I could swoop in somewhere at the convention that would be kinda fun actually =D

I'm not too sure about hardware. Typically, I've seen a lot of peripherals like headsets, mics, mice, etc, but I don't know if I've ever seen any of the hardware folks selling anything. But anything is possible.

I would check the exhibiters to see who is there but ive seen corsair sell some hardware and acer once teamed up for a booth and were just selling some graphics cards and heat dispersion item like fans and mounts. From memory that is all i remember at pax

Depends on the vendors really. I've purchased MB's and PSU's before but they are not always available every year.

Even if you can't get it right at PAX, there is certainly some place in Seattle you could run to and grab something like an SSD. You could probably order it on Amazon today/tomorrow and have it delivered to your hotel. Just call the hotel and tell them a package will be arriving for you.

Do keep in mind that a few (not all) hotels will charge you a fee to accept a delivery, though.

Nvidia was selling nvidia shields and graphics cards as a bundle a few years ago.
