damn if insinuating the main bully is an asshole because he was molested when he was 11 followed by immediately outing the other bully in the same breath didn't make me kind of want to drop this already kinda stupid ass show.
It's had some fun bits but overall I think it's actually been pretty uneven and bad? I'm pretty disappointed with it.

Hey guys. You like Castlevania Easter eggs? Cause I got Castlevania Easter eggs: https://imgur.com/a/tJD61lz
(warning, spoilers)
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
It's rare that I like early on alliances but the bros are really an amazing group. I really hope they are able to stay loyal within the 3 post merge.
This feels like the most impact I've seen weather have in a season early on (but admittedly there were a few years I fell off watching the show).
It also feels like there are less people I've forgotten exist this season. Ususally there are a half dozen or so people that when they go home I have to ask my wife who they are, this season that hasn't been the case.
Hell yeah I am all in on this, way to go castlevania
Also
I love that all these vampires are just completely unprepared for fighting a guy with a whip
Thats a canon thing
Beside having a ladys vengeful soul in it Whips are ideal for fighting Vampires and such because its ranged but can move way faster than other weapons without losing attack power
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
There are also several movie and comic references in dialog that I believe range from the 60s to the 80s (maybe 90s?).
I appreciated the (mostly) lack of technology, though.
I think most of can be explained as Greendale being a poor as shit town that cant really update its facilities and also its right above hell
they never said this and it probably has an established geography, but since I'm listening to The Adventure Zone which takes place in a part of West Virginia that's a Radio Free Zone, I kind of immediately assumed Greendale was as well.
on the contrary, stay in the library forever and keep fucking pettily sniping at each other and hugging in stinky cloaks and reading books and finding treasures

Greendale and Riverdale are supposed to be along the same river in the northwestish US but it's never well established

Oh I absolutely thought that those towns were supposed to be in the northeast, that's kind of wild to me, that also seems....incongruent to the idea of witch trials/hangings?
edit: yeah riverdale has no actual geography but originally it was supposed to be in new york. it's never said but it's super northeastern
Took me a couple weeks, but I watched the premiere for the current season of Blindspot.
Apparently Jane and Remi are not going to be switching off randomly, it's all Remi all the time, and she goddamn hates the team and it is kind of funny. Mostly because Remi is not supposed to exist anymore, so she has to pretend to be Jane. Every time she hugs someone, she grimaces when they can't see her face.
Also hallucinate her dead brother (hi still-probably-season-regular Roman!), because that's a symptom of the thing that's killing her. And what The Team is trying to cure her of. So not only does she hate them all, especially Kurt, Remi has to pretend she's still Jane while trying to re-start Sandstorm AND has to work with them for her best shot at being cured of what's killing (or will kill) her.
In case anyone is curious as to what's killing her, the premise of the story is that she was injected with a fuckton of this drug that induces amnesia. The idea was so that Remi could then 'infiltrate' the FBI as Jane, take them down, etc., except Jane never turned back into Remi and the terrorist org she worked for (Sandstorm) was effectively annihilated. Well a few years later, and the drug is now showing signs of not having dissipated in her system, and since her dose was so high, it's affecting her ability to function. Long-term, it's kind of like a nastier man-made Alzheimer's, where ultimately her body will just 'forget' how to move, breathe, and do all the involuntary stuff it's normally really good at.
What really helps make the show (unintentionally) hilarious is that it's under the Greg Berlanti umbrella. So the city shots are the ones used in The Flash, guest stars have a 50% chance of also being from that particular universe, and Blake Neely does most/all the music.

My bad I meant northeast. I had gravity falls on the brain

If Sabrina is in Greendale does that mean Jeff Winger could be her law professor? Joel McHale does work for Netflix and that could be a pretty funny, if bizarre, tie in.
Riverdale's richest family being maple syrup magnates limits the possible location to the either the Northeast U.S. or the Great Lakes Midwest regions.
Huh, didn't expect this, Showtime is making a Penny Dreadful spin-off, City of Angels. It is "set in 1938 Los Angeles, a time and place deeply infused with Mexican-American folklore and social tension. Rooted in the conflict between characters connected to the deity Santa Muerte and others allied with the Devil, the new series will explore a mix of the supernatural and the reality of the time period."

They are right at the tip of America's northeast region.
They mention Canada being right next to them a lot.

I think so?
The "main" ending is not great, but like, the plot was never the show's strong point. And the side stories (Dorian and Victor) go to some pretty great places in the end.

“And then there was Shawn” is such a good episode.
It's as bad (in a kinda good way) as everyone said it was, and I'm really enjoying the soundtrack.

Double Shot is probably the thing I least expected to see in there.

warren ellis was quoted as saying he didn't really know how to work him in, on top of the fact that "his name is dumb", which I thought was funny
I finished two seasons in two days, yeah. It fuckin' flies along.
I'm doing the best I can, alright!
I assume it's the last name which is the problem, in which case just change it back to Danesti, which was an actual noble house in Wallachia.
