HP Pavilion Webcam and AIM 6.1

So I just got a brand new HP laptop and I'm trying to use it with video chat for AIM 6.1. I got it to work about once, but now AIM is telling me that another program is using my webcam and i have no idea what it could be. I tried posting this in the computer thread but no one responded. Plus, this is more of an AIM problem because HP Quickplay still recognises my webcam. Help?
