There's a GB port of Nintendo World Cup as well, but I think it's pretty much NWC zoomed in and without color. Super Sidekicks or what it's called for the Neo-Geo is pretty arcadey too since, well, it is an arcade game.

Does the game have music play when you're on the field or only when certain events happen? I don't remember any music from Strikers except the sudden death tune, which is why I ended up wth my own jams playing.

Teamspeak. I've tried setting up a server for this game, it'll be running 24/7 and currently has pretty much the default team speak options running on it.

I've yet to manage a custom match but I just played a rank match with somebody (who kept constantly using bowsers fucking charge move) and they were on in that. I won though. Most proud of myself! First Match = victory!

Name I don't know, but appearance yes. I changed my mii appearance once and my friend code didn't change.

Awesome, I'll add you in a sec. But to answer your question; Mario Strikers can only connect 2 wii's. But on each wii you can add 1 guest so in total that would be at a max; 2vs2. I am not sure if 2vs1 is possible, I don't see why not.

Aw my gawd! I played just some fucking awesome matches. Time was up, it was 1-1 and what a fight for that final goal! I think there were like 10 very close shots per person. Such an awesome game this is.

One thing that annoys the heck out of me, and sadly I'm beginning to see it more and more; people that only use there hammer bros. and then slam everybody out till they're alone and then charge up, and GOAL! You get the tactic. It's very annoying and I never use it, only against people that use it; so be warned!

Yeah, I've noticed that tactic too, it annoys the piss out of me. Especially when they just leg it up the pitch continually hammering. I normally try to keep a power up spare just for those occasions. I do like using the hammer bros though, and it is almost a guaranteed goal if you can power it up before anyone hits you

I've been playing against Waluigi in one player and he has a weird teleport move where he teleported BEHIND my keeper. That was really bloody annoying.

I'm glad I'll be able to play this online. My fiancee, with her absolute love for Nintendo, hated the last Strikers. And with its complete lack of single player content, I never picked it up, even though I loved it. Now I can't wait for Charged. =D

Several other characters have moves that allow them to teleport through the keeper Boo and Drybones and I think another striker though I forget which. Drybones teleport roll takes him further if your hold B when you do it. Waluigi's Wall-Luigi is a pretty cheeky way of getting an almost guaranteed megastrike. I think most characters are reasonably balanced once you see their 'trick', though I admit the hammer bros. get ridiculous.
We were watching oceans 11 this evening but I'll definately be on tommorow at some point during the day, hope to get some matches in against you guys.
P.S. strictly, soccer refers to association football and I presume the mushroom league isn't affiliated :P
