Junkrat - Australian, no possible connection to Frankenstein.
Roadhog - New Zealand, same
Reaper - American, no connection to Dracula/Romania beyond the grimdark aesthetic
Really, they're kinda' willy-nilly about it - it's not that important to them - but Moira as a uniquely European female monster is a cool call.
And now I find myself kinda' disappointed that Doomfist is a stick Hollywood movie monster instead of something interesting from African folklore. Like, I'd never heard of the stiff-limbed Chinese Vampire until Mei's skin in... 2016, I think?

...but Torb already got the Viking skin for Halloween 2017 - not a great Halloween skin, I agree, but there are other more dignified heroes who could really use a new event legendary.

As a Doomfist player Tracer is significantly less dignified when she is approaching the nearest hard surface at relativistic speeds.
I like to see how many times I can crater them until they switch to McCree or quit outright. :}

So today I decided to play Pharah for the first time on PC because my loot boxes saw fit to give me her sweet Legendary gold skin. I told my quickplay teammates, they were receptive. I know Pharah's kit so that isn't a big deal.
Went absolutely massive, 33 elims, 5 deaths, POTG (which was a Quad involving my ult so I got the achievement for that the first time I played her).
Near the end the other team was so fed up with me they were on a bunch of counters so I swapped to Doom and mopped the floor with them, killing half their team (Ana, Hanzo, McCree) on their last push.
It was pretty spectacular. I also got an environmental kill at one point on their Rein with Pharah's knockback ability.
Going to need you to spell this properly please.

Stop locking dps, start playing according to team comp needs -> plummeted to 1270
Holy shit it's unimaginably terrible in 1270. People announcing that they're throwing right at the start of the match, and they mean it! Countless unplaced, no-prestige level players that I suspect are just new troll accounts (or smurfs when they're on the other team). The non-healing Lucio who thinks he's Tracer rate goes from rare to a regular thing.
Moral of the story: Never listen to the comp META complainers on your team, at least in anything below mid-platinum. Some teams are beyond a good support saving them. Almost every single time I switched out of lone healer to Soldier (with his E being our whole team's only source of healing), our game turned around dramatically. Mute all text and voice chat (don't leave the channel, in case you need to announce something). I made the mistake of unmuting once and immediately it was just constant swearing (you could hear the neckbeard the voices).
My comp rating took a freefall until I muted everyone and started being more selfish about switching to DPS when support isn't working out. Having more fun is just a bonus.
I climbed from 1600 to 2300 exclusively solo queue support and tank and mostly filling. Maybe the problem is that you're bad at support and tank....
First time I got into plat was with Zen. To me it's more that
Support relies on tanks and peelers
Tanks rely on supports and to a lesser extend DPS
My Tracer on the other hand is very, very adaptable, and tends to work well regardless of our comp or the enemy's. We've got a solo Zen healing? Better than nothing, let's do this!
