[Destiny 2] You're Not Crazy: Cutest Molaihts Now Cost Super Mitboost Gates
Posts
Boo top of page spoiler-ness. Anyway, enclosed spoiler is talking about campaign ending scene alongside mission Nothing Left to Say
So it's a pretty solid interpretation of the implication.
I suspect a lot of folks are not going to be finishing the raid next weekend.
I'm signed up for one Friday but I'm not entirely certain I'll be high enough light to even unlock the event. Definitely won't be high enough to finish.
Raid level requirements spoilers based on something I saw on reddit
The word is it's 520 to unlock and 550 recommended. Which I assume means the last section will be like 580.
@Corporal Carl (and his friend, according to his earlier post) and myself have hit this roadblock where we have Y1 exotics that claim to require masterwork cores to infuse. As not-owning-Forsaken players, we have no (reliable) way to get masterwork cores. Not even prohibitively expensive ways. Access to the Forsaken core vendor requires the Forsaken expansion that we don't have.
Since returning to the game after a year-long absence, I've completed the Curse of Osiris content, about half of the Warmind DLC, plus several nights of roaming around to grind out power levels (needed to not be obliterated by Warmind). In ten days of play, I have seen exactly one masterwork item (a titan mark) which apparently yielded two cores when I deconstructed it. (I only know this because I somehow have two cores and I don't know of any other way that I could have gotten them.)
Right now I'm sitting at the soft-cap of 340 (without exotics). My highest Y1 exotic is 285. To infuse a Y1 exotic takes three cores. Cores, which are impossible for a Y1 player to obtain in any way other than waiting for a ridiculously low drop rate to cough one up. Cores, which could literally take weeks of play to get single one. A new player could easily complete the entire campaign and only see one masterwork item, or maybe none at all!!
You can't tell me that's not going to drive new players away from the game.
Also also seems like there's a bugged interaction between the new Sentinel Super and the Dawnblade super rift. As soon as you use the new Banner shield while attached/in the rift, your super instantly depletes to zero and goes away.
It's happened every time I tried to use it in conjunction with @Luarithae 's super rift.
One entry. You can only get Y1 versions of exotics out of the vault. No random rolls.
I just tried it to see. Bought a Nazerac's Sin off Xur, got the one out of my vault, and looked it up in the Collection.
Collection and vault ones match (sidearm targeting is the only 3rd row perk, special ammo finder is the only 4th row). The one from Xur has 3 perks in the 3rd row, none of which are Sidearm and two on the 4th row, neither of which is special ammo finder.
So I guess Collection exotics are the Y1 ones and you can only get Y2 ones in Y2.
Out of curiosity, what level does it say in the Collections tab you'd get if you re-bought any of the exotics you've got? Not that that's a good solution to the infusion problem; just wondering.
You can also just choose the lake of shadows from the director and run it a couple times.
Man I’m the worst at not catching auto correct nonsense on my phone. There’s some straight gibberish in my post.
Also I’m more than ok holding off on raiding until the week after next. Should give more time to get some decent power levels so it’ll be less frustrating and more fun
My cleft has been upgraded
Shadow Thralls are much much faster if that option is available to you. Maybe 10 minutes tops, including doing the jumping puzzle to get there.
I've experienced this as well, and it seems to be documented on Reddit. I also had the same thing occur when someone used the new superman smash to fly through the banner shield. Instantly deactivated the super and drained energy to zero.
oh reddit

Got around 35 kills in the two matches I did today, won both and got like 7 Army of One medals during that.
I haven't done any invading yet, since all my gambit time has been spent working on Cayde's Will. Given that I've completed that, I may just go back and see if its as fun as it looked on the receiving end. I'm contemplating finally getting around to finishing the steps for Sleeper first, though, as I imagine sleeper + super = dead enemy team.
I've waited all week for this. HEEYEYYYYYAALLLL YEEEEEAH BOIIIIIIISS
I've been meaning to ask if you're PC or console? I could always use another meatshield minion friend or two for Destiny stuff.
Well, yeah. Not saying it was faster but giving an easy alternative for people that don't have it unlocked. You can also work on strike bounties and what not while doing it.
PSN: ShogunGunshow
Origin: ShogunGunshow
I have not found them yet.
The amount of entirely different stuff people seem to have found is awesome.
3DS Code: 5043-2172-1361
Xbone Tag: Salal al Din
*eye twitch*
No, there was a different one that had all the objects in list form. It actually linked to that map site, though
Woops, my bad there's 2, one for energy one for kinetic.
3DS Code: 5043-2172-1361
Xbone Tag: Salal al Din
It'll still shred things outside of Crucible pretty well, and there's just something gratifying about incinerating a whole room full of Hive in seconds with one. Could be pretty useful in Gambit, thinking on it.
So from before, I wanted to continue my train of thought. To sum it up: Zavala sucks. And has for some time.
-At the start of the Red War, he makes the civilization-destroying level mistake of ignoring the Red Legion's attack on the Traveler. Who knows how possible it would have been to stop it on short notice, but doing nothing was the only guaranteed way to completely get everyone killed.
-He then signals the survivors to a fallback planet that had apparently not been the subject of enough Vanguard oversight, killing many, many more Guardians in the process.
-He has no plan for dealing with the Legion and completely depends on the advice of his Fireteam to get anywhere.
-In Osiris, Ikora doesn't even want him informed of what's going on. Apparently, he can't be trusted with the information.
-In Warmind, Zavala takes time to chastise Ana and the Guardian for investigating some SERIOUS SHIT happening on Mars, but not enough time to actually help them deal with it? He forces a terrible plan (if not having a plan could be considered one) over an option he considers distasteful and nearly gets the Tower's best field asset killed with his stupidity. Ana takes command and resolves the situation instantly.
-And finally, in Forsaken,
So... I think it's story time that he gets deposed. I'm thinking something like the duel from Uncanny X-Men #201, where Storm defeats Cyclops, who had developed into a weak headed mess at that point. Ikora should stop tiptoeing around calling him a coward and just challenge him to a duel. After she crushes him (because of course she will), he should leave the Tower to clear his head (and come back later on with his head pulled out of his ass). With this done, here's my proposed new Tower leadership.
New Speaker: Ikora (her connection to the Traveler is actually a real thing, unlike the last guy)
New Titan Vanguard: Saladin (Let's stop ignoring the events of Rise of Iron and get him in the story in a big way)
New Warlock Vanguard: Osiris (he admitted Ikora had surpassed him, it's time for him to stop fucking around with his Vex video games and start contributing to Humanity again)
New Hunter Vanguard: I want Eris but would allow Hawthorne since the game seems to be leaning that way

I'm PS4. You?
I played solo all night (because I had to do basically the entire story, which was SO TERRIFIC, GG BUNGIE) - first campaign, public events and exploring and questing, then Crucible, then Gambit. Up in about 5 hours to do a bunch more stuff.
Will definitely be game for some Gambit or Crucible or Strikes or WHATEVER tomorrow. Maybe I'll throw a Pax Arcadia Community Party Chat up on PS4 again.
Yeah, I survived that with a sliver of health left and still wrecked him and his team, I totally expected some hate mail for that one but nothing came from it. :crackle:
I wish that AoS's quest step was for killing as an invader instead of the other way around.

Maybe in the Lost Sector near Petra... Look for things that stand out.
OK, Thin Line is apparently recommended, so I'll try that out next time.
And I’m never taking my bow off. The game is still second to none in shooting mechanics, including ancient weapons. Now just give me an exotic heavy cow.
The old standbys are not bad choices either. I used a mixture of Truth (the gambit drop) and a Zen Moment/Rangefinder Better Devils to complete the HC related stuff for the AoS quest.
The invader kills was actually the biggest PITA about that quest. What I ended up doing was heading for the middle of the map as soon as the invader warning popped and kept an eye out. Typically one of my allies would engage the invader or get killed by them, which helped in locating them before a sniper round or sleeper bolt cut me down.
Fighting Lion + Hand Cannon of choice is a great way to get invader kills solo too, as I think local H Jay suggested. The Lion takes care of the overshield, so from there you just gotta win the fight with your hand cannon.
Good luck to everyone working on it! The reward is absolutely worth it.
