The next round, the opposing team decided to come at us one by one like bad guys in a Kung fu movie, and completely ignore me, so we won even faster than I’d just lost that 3v5. I called it a day after that, figured I’d peaked.
finally got a weapon to drop in uldir last night, finally replacing the 330 i've been using since the second or third week. Feels like an easy 1k extra DPS from one upgrade.

Problematic as the weekly Conq stuff is, I'm actually enjoying arenas for the first time since uh...TBC? Potentially I'd have enjoyed them in previous expansions but I just completely stayed out of them after I sort of lost interest in queued PvP, but the weekly cache is more than enough incentive for me and it's just so much easier than crossing your fingers for the daily BG wins.
Also I get why MOTHER fucks with pugs since 100% of the fight challenge is in coordination, but man Mythrax being such a pug roadblock really caught me off guard.
Any way to check progress for that boat? I started up a 3 month sub right as BFA hit and it would be a lot easier for me to do another 3 months than a full 6.

BFA has problems. But i still dearly love this game and have for almost fourteen years so i may be a little biased.
The last time they did something like this is that Contract thing where you promised to stay subscribed for a year and you got diablo for free and the tyreals charger mount.

I think this is pretty standard MMO practice. FFXIV and SWToR both give cosmetic items to consistent subscribers. If it were just a cash grab, Blizzard would be advertising it as a perk that will be awarded in six months for paying for your sub now.

I have been playing world of warcraft since i was sixteen years old. I'm almost thirty.
Oh I'm sure some alpha testers and some of the onlookers were proclaiming it would be DOA.
I'm always on the 6 month thing, despite the ups and downs here and there, WoW has always been a pretty phenomenal value for the buck for me.
Ran LFR twice now on some alts. Both times was nearer to the end of the week - both were clean runs, no losses.
