Alright, I know "technically not strictly better" is one of my gags here but I've legitimately run Embrace over Auchenai in rez decks because I didn't want to dilute my rez pool. This is far better for any non-rez-based deck, though.
Favorite: Immortal Prelate. This card just sounds like a lot of fun to build around and play with. Most Powerful, Meta Warper: Saronite Taskmaster. It's zombie chow, again. The downside is probably a bit worse but is it that much worse? This might bring super aggro decks back in a real way. Biggest Overhyped Card: Revenge of the Wild. After thinking over this card some more, I'm just not seeing it. Flying under the radar: High Priest Thekal. I'm going to go on a huge limb here and say all the support for healadin is going to come together and make a strong deck. There's a lot of very good pieces sitting out there just waiting to come together. Favorite new archetype: Discard Warlock. I'm going to pretend any prior iteration of the archetype didn't really exist. I think it might just work out now. Legendary Loa you want to get: Akali, The Rhino "You got the dud" legendary: Wardruid Loti
Favorite: High Priest Thekal. New archetype? Could be good. Most Powerful, Meta Warper: Janalai? Bringing back hall of famed cards, with a body? Biggest Overhyped Card: Oondasta - think it will be too slow generally. Flying under the radar: 1 mana hunter beast spell (+1/+1 & attack). Favorite new archetype: Midrange beast hunter. Legendary Loa you want to get: Frog "You got the dud" legendary: Hakkar

if warlock uses that new card that destroys a minion and gives their minions on board +1/+1, does that resolve after or before the egg dies? if after that means the 1/1 scarabs also get buffed.....???

it's genuinely strange how ruthlessly they tune the co-op brawls considering the rest of the tavern brawl experience
Put challenging co-op content in with no way to communicate meaningfully with your partner. Very smooth.
Officially the unluckiest CCG player ever.

Favorite: High Priest Thekal. I'm gonna try to make this work and I'm not even PLAYING the game currently. Most Powerful, Meta Warper: Grim Rally. Zoolock got a new best friend. Biggest Overhyped Card: I can't say because I only have this thread so I don't know what's hyped! Flying under the radar: I'm gonna be silly here and say the wombo-combo of Master's Call and Untamed Beastmaster. anyway Mojomaster Zihi is probs my "flies under the radar" card
i... think that's very strong combo deck disruption, or even just against control decks in general. it completely fucks druid, shudderwock, mecha'thun...
i don't think it gives you 5 full mana crystals on the turn it's played (maybe? probably not? hmm). if it does whOOAAAA but if not still strong regardless i think.
going to be a very potent tech card

Favorite card (not best, but what you like the most) - Oondasta is SUCH a good addition to Recruit Hunter, and the art is awesome.
Most powerful, meta warping card - Mass Hysteria is probably just broken at 5.
Biggest overhyped card - Akali. It'll probably be playable as plan B, but I don't think an 8 drop with that little impact is what Rush Warrior is going to want--early blowouts from the Spirit is what's going to make the deck good, if it is.
Flying under the radar card - Spirit of the Frog. Tutoring Volcano is such a ludicrous effect. Shoutout to Zentimo too, that card is going to blow people the fuck out. (Did y'all notice it works when using removal on enemy minions too????)
Favorite new archetype - Spells Matter Shaman will fit in nicely with me returning to my Shudderwocking ways.
Legendary Loa you want to get - Krag'wa. The question I'm always asking when playing Shaman is "how can I get more Hexes?"
Legendary you really hope you don't open from a pack - Hooktusk. There's just zero chance I will ever play that card at any point.
Alright folks, time for some thoughts from you all! Here we go:
Favorite card (not best, but what you like the most)
Most powerful, meta warping card
Biggest overhyped card
Flying under the radar card
Favorite new archetype
Legendary Loa you want to get
Legendary you really hope you don't open from a pack
Fav - Master's Call.
Powerful - Revenge of the Wild
Hype - Can't speak to it, haven't played in 5 months
Radar - Time Out, immune in a weapon class is neat. I wonder how it works with Thekal
Archetype - Conditional discard
Loa - Rhino
Trash - Hir'eek
I got a monthly summary email from Blizzard the other day. The one thing that stood out was that I’d completed 32 quests last month. So one per day plus a hold over from the month prior. Cool.
But then the email said the average was 12.1 in my region. Wow, I’m some sort of whale that doesn’t spend money. Fascinating stuff.

Favorite card (not best, but what you like the most) - Princess Talanji or Spirit of the Dead - Priest looks neat this set and putting minions back in your deck is an interesting take on a resurrection effect. Most powerful, meta warping card - Mojomaster Zihi - I get so frustrated with late game strategies that seek to opress the opponent into stagnation and this will be a great tool for midrange decks vs control not just as a fuck druid card (but also as a fuck druid card because fuck druid) Biggest overhyped card idk my bff jill? Flying under the radar card - Zentimo - turning all your damage spells into shooting stars is crazy powerful. Shoutout to spirit of the dragonhawk as well. Favorite new archetype - Zombie Priest, Rush Warrior, Wide Warlock, and possibly Hero Power Mage Legendary Loa you want to get Bwonsamdi or Akili or Janali Legendary you really hope you don't open from a pack - Hex Lord Malicrass or Wardruid Loti
Final Thought - Lots of neat archtypes to try out and Im even happier to have a Whizbang so I can see what I like before commiting dust. Biggest fear is that nothing will make an impact on ranking until rotation in April.

Favorite card (not best, but what you like the most) Mojomaster Zihi This game badly needs ways to disrupt combo decks, so I'm happy to see a neutral one in this set. Also fuck ramp druids.
Most powerful, meta warping card Mass Hysteria I feel like this is going to be the first one nerfed
Biggest overhyped card Master's Call I wanted to like this one at first, but the more I think about it, the more limited it seems. If you make a deck that is 100% beasts, weapons, and spells then it is great, but that's leaving a lot of other useful stuff out. You could probably get away with including a few key non-beasts, but then you're opening yourself up to some disappointing low-rolls with this card.
Flying under the radar card Spirit of the Shark I feel like a Brann Bronzebeard that's more likely to survive a turn has the potential to be pretty strong.
Favorite new archetype Does Quest Hunter count because they've finally given it support? IF not, Self-Damage Healadin.
Legendary Loa you want to get Halazzi, the Lynx I'm going to make Quest Hunter work, dammit
Legendary you really hope you don't open from a pack War Master Voone I just don't like playing warrior, and this card wouldn't convince me to try
Master's Call and Stitched Tracker mean that you have enormously good odds to get Halazzi in hand by turn 5. The goal is to play your Quest any time before you start summoning Halazzi dudes, play control Hunter for four or five turns and burn off your hand, drop Halazzi, complete the quest over the next turn or two, and then go to town with a cheap 8/8 and her raptor babies. As long as you have 3 or fewer cards in hand after playing Halazzi, you can complete the quest. Later, Zul'jin plays out a bunch of traps, summons a bunch of wolves, and then replays the quest. Which you can then complete again via raptor babies! Subject 9 just flushes out your deck of secrets, helping to ensure a steady feed of good stuff. And Rexxar presents a pesky board clear attached to one of the best alternate win conditions in the game.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.

my only concern there is from my experience the baby raptors themselves need a bit of help to really get going, otherwise you play a bunch and hopefully attack with them the next turn
a Tundra Rhino would dilute the discover pool a bit, but it's still a Beast so it would work with Master's Call

oh can I go back to change my most overhyped to that hunter weapon? If y'all didn't play Argent Lance you're not playing this 2 mana 2/3, especially not with a new Zombie Chow. It's still just better to have a raw Eaglehorn.

A Shaw in place of the Subject 9 would be the change I'd make it I wanted to take that route. Subject 9 is basically in a utility slot - I like "draw 4 or 5 cards and thin the deck considerably," but it could very easily be something else.

One downside to Mojomaster Zihi that some people might not be considering is that you will be a turn behind your opponent as you each ramp back up in mana (i.e., opponent will get 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 mana turns before you do). I'm not saying that the card won't potentially be useful for combo/late game deck disruption, but that it will implicitly come with the disadvantage of "going second" for part of the game.
