Tom Brady couldn't win a game with the Giants offensive line

they only know how to fall down so Saquon can run around the pile

This Lions-Packers game is unreal. He's missed three field goals! The Lions awful defense is actually playing OK!

To be fair, the Packers don't look like the normal Packers. Also they have the worst play calling. Jones runs the entire length of the field, but in the red zone the Packers go with 3 pass plays.

There is a QB issue for the Giants though. Eli just doesn’t have it anymore.

I've been saying this since it happened, but Gettleman consigned us to quarterback hell for a generation.

Unless of course we win three games or less again this season. Then hopefully he consigned himself to being a one and done GM.

I read that earlier and I'm not seeing the big deal with what Odell said.

That’s like the textbook definition of a media figure trying to manufacture a controversy out of nothing.

A generation? Bullshit. They can get a good QB in the middle of the first round or even trade up if need be. Half of the early QB's end up busts anyway. At least they got a damn good offensive player that will help any QB coming in after Eli develop and have time to make throws.

It's much easier to find a good running back outside of the top 5 picks than it is to find a quarterback

Yes but it isn't easy to find a necessarily revolutionary running back like Barkley or Gurley.

I think the biggest question mark right now is

What the fuck is this Lions team?

  • Trajan45Trajan45 Registered User regular
Well on a positive note for the Giants, what other teams need QB's this off season? Looking at the list, I can't maybe pick 1? So they should be able to get a top pick where ever they are in the draft next year.

They're starting to come back to form here in the 2nd half. I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers end up winning this.

If the Packers played better in the first half it would be easier to win these games.

To be fair that last one was a 56 yarder.

  • Trajan45Trajan45 Registered User regular
Yeah, not sure why they even tried it. I'd trust Aaron Rodgers more than Crosby at this point.

Still not as bad as the Browns kicker again!!!

  • Captain InertiaCaptain Inertia Registered User regular
Browns in OT for the third time in 5 games, kicker missed an xp that would have made the 57 yard missed FG at the end irrelevant.

If you had told me the Lions would beat the Patriots and Packers, I would have assumed that meant they'd be 5-0 right now. They barely lost to the Niners and Cowboys and really couldve swung either way. But I dont know how this team got blown out by the Jets.

    I can't complain.

    Giants fought back

    Broke 30 points finally.

Took the lead with a minute left.

The defense did enough that they normally would have won.

They lost to a damn near impossible 63 yard field goal.

  • Trajan45Trajan45 Registered User regular
Man, Rams just pulled a Seahawks. Pass when you were 2 yards away from the endzone and have Gurley. Gets intercepted.

I love that in order for Cleveland to win on a Sunday it took until the last second in OT on the wonkiest made FG I've seen in a long time.

    FAT GUY TD ALERT

    Linval Joseph rumbles 63 yards.
