Question: I got 3 5-star cards in my last re-roll attempt. The thing is, 2 of them are Wyrmprints, and the other is a dragon. Should I be looking for characters/dragons only?

Eh, 4*s are fine - you ultimately need a spread across the elements so you won't be able to consistently field 5*s for a good while.
oh I must have revealed what the last event endeavor is by beating expert, let's see here "clear an extra mode raid battle in under 1 minute" haha no thanks
This existing makes me think this will be a recurring event
Given that the gold medal rewards keep going up into the thousands, I think that you might be right.

What did you pull? I settled on a reroll with only a single 5* (a wyrmprint), and my progress hasn't felt hampered. Since then I've had some lucky rolls though.
Doing Expert now. I may have replaced a 4* in my team with Ezelith to hit 7500 Might, but I see other people doing the same and the rest of my team is geared Water so I'm not too conflicted about it now that I can get my hands on gold medals.

People are fucking idiots and neutral element stuff is only effectively worth 60% might, the game just does a bad job of surfacing this stuff and reinforces poor decisions
The game could blare that information on the front page and people would still only care about Might because it's an easy number to judge other people and wave epeen around.
Done several Experts now and haven't failed any of them, with most attempts having my team at near full health because I know to bank skills to avoid AoE's. The times I do get hit is when AI is being dundersticks and staying in purple volcano explosions.
It hardly matters though. He has more than enough to be properly geared for the level even without one water unit. He's just trying to get the events to fire when the queue is full of brainlets that think that people need might scores high enough to practically solo the event.
A synergistic co-ability will also more than make up for the loss of combat efficiency from a single dumb ai unit. For example, my fire team will include someone with a *crit rate Co ability because it will let my Mikoto hit some stupid high crit rate. For lack of a fire unit, that's going to be either a water or wind unit. That crit rate boost will be far more valuable to me than anything that the bot would have done on its own.

After falling in love with katana due to Musashi, I want Mikoto so bad
I feel like I'm being super clever with my abilities to invincible through almost every aoe thing and I often still end up with dead AI. I even run into the wall in the safe zone during volcanoes to drag the AI into the safe area.
the game doesn't point out that you get iframes from skills and there's no in-game way to tell people about it so I'm not surprised it's Secret Tech
This and being able to tell the AI to aim at a part are the main things to know for this (although AI aim is mainly just to kill the tail even a second faster, it's not going to do much on the legs)

There's some back and forth on the clicking one, it's not confirmed just yet because people are saying AI will attack what you're attacking, which is leading to false positives.

Kept seeing this pop up, so I made a quick comparison
Tier 1 Level 70 4* Weapon
Tier 3 Level 20 3* Weapon (Matched with correct Element)
how do you tell the AI to attack something? I've seen teammates pop up a slightly garbled looking "tailAttack this" message a few times but I don't know where that option is

That doesn't direct AI, it's just meant to tell other players what to target

To my knowledge, that's a scripted message that automatically pops up if you fail to kill the tail before the first tailspin. IMO seeing it is a shamfur dispray and your teammates should commit sudoku.

I just dinged 6k might. I want to transition to a 3* water katana, but I'm lacking granite and water orbs. I'll be scouring this blazon summon for them.
Edit :
If you hate the backwards force attack aiming as much as I do, please send them feedback to give us an option to invert it.

You can destroy the volcanoes
Yes, you have to destroy at least one to create a safe zone. If the AI is still standing in the death zone when it goes off they die though so to be safe I drag them to a safe zone by running into the wall.
I'm leaning towards the week-long double daily rewards booster. It's fun pulling the gacha lever but I don't think that's going to be the weak link in account progression.

I try to make it a point to not buy anything I can farm on my own given enough time.
This getherwing shortage is really showing up now with the raid going. Too many hosts, not enough joiners.
It's much easier for me to MLB a 4* T1 weapon than it is to make a 3* elemental weapon.
It’s tough right? You lose a skill by using a T1 weapon, but if you aren’t creating T3 elementals for every element you lose that anyway.
I’ve been trying to decide which way to go, but I did create a T3 3* water spear and it is a lot easier than creating a T2 4* weapon at this stage of the game.

You also really want to kill those volcanoes because they give a ton of dragon power. The best groups I've been in kill 3-4 just for the dragon charge.

I'm really busy and have to work overtime during the week a lot. I don't have the luxury of farming forever. Also, eventually we're going to start plataeuing out on player level and we won't effectively have infinite stamina anymore. We won't be able to just farm ad-infinitum anymore.
according to those familiar with cygames, eventually they say fuck it and start handing out stamina refresh items at an obscene rate
Eventually, sure, but GBF is different in that a lot of its stuff outside raids is done solo. Here, multiplayer is the focus because it increases drop odds so it's always better to do multiplayer for pretty much everything when farming. So when there's issues being able to co-op in a game that is heavily based around it early on, then something needs to be done before people start leaving. It has to survive long enough to get to the point where those refresh items are being given out like candy.
how does that factor in to spending on gacha vs rewards boost
Rewards boosts just double what you get from those daily blue chests in each of the things, so if you'd get 8 gold crystals for completing Avenue to Power Expert you'd instead get 16. Ideally we want to do these daily and co-op all of them for better drops, especially with how we're limited on stamina so we can't farm infinitely for resources. So it makes the rewards booster something that's not really necessary, because you're paying real money for something you were going to get anyway. And really, what are an extra eight gold crystals going to get you? Maybe two levels for a 40+ unit? If that's worth the money then by all means, I just personally don't think paying money for anything farmable is a good idea.
I saw someone in Reddit with the idea that hosting using stamina should earn you getherwings. Seemed like a pretty good idea to me. Maybe 1 wing per 10 or 15 or more stamina that way they aren’t infinite and people will swap between hosting and joining to make it easier to find groups.
i just saw the refresh rate on getherwings and that's... what the actual fuck.
i thought stamina was a bit low, but the level-ups have been taking care of that so far.
the getherwing situation is (dragalia nope.)
your rates are bad, and you should feel bad.
