I haven't ever dropped below the cap so far because level ups keep happening faster than I can use stamina and wings. I lost a bunch of wings from hitting the 50 cap, too
To host a two-getherwing map, it takes either an hour or hour and a half’s worth of stamina (10 vs 15). Even if they were sped up to be the same rate (or stamina slowed down), there would be an issue since each multiplay removes three times more wings than stamina from the system. But imo the main thing is the the regen cap for wings is too low, as you can only get up to the equivalent of 30-45 stamina’s worth of wings max, and it doesn’t ever increase like stamina’s does.
So, in order to reach hosting equilibrium, we’d need about a 4.5-6x increase in wing recovery, and increasing the regen cap of wings to be in line with the stamina increases.
I think when you make a room you get put at the end of a hidden matchmaking queue, after 5 or 6 minutes of no one showing up it suddenly fills up quickly and you keep getting more people if people drop out. Also if you choose to play again you are put at the front of the queue because people start joining to fill empty spots immediately. The only problem with playing again is if people go afk after the mission ends without choosing not to try to play again, they sit in the lobby without readying up until the timer runs out after 90 seconds or so and they auto-decline and exit the room.
Ok got my Pele fully unbound, got my event wyrmprint fully unbound, got all the event endeavors done but the extra mode speedrun title, think I'm pretty much done except for maybe grinding another 220 gold emblems for that champion's testament at 400.
Pele fuckin' loves to duck me. I've got two copies and each box I've only gotten him after it dipped below 100/467. I'm going to get the copy from the Silver emblems before I even pull his fourth I think.
Huh, so apparently the trade-off for having all the elemental dungeons open on Sunday and Monday is you don't get the Expert difficulty like on regular days. That's kind of dumb.

They do the same thing with the elemental trials in GBF, yeah
I beat chapter 6 last night. I was giving Pele a trial run during it. She stuggled a bit fighting Valyx, but she absolutely deleted every other boss in the chapter in an eyeblink. I think that larger enemies are capable of being struck by multiple flame pillars from her ult, which added up to massive damage.
Nothing hurts worse than finishing the raid (standard) with less than 30 seconds to spare, sending a "Good Job!" to everyone, and only getting a "Nope" as a reply. Especially when that person was using Hildebrand instead of, you know, literally any Water unit.

Well, it could have beena wind unit. But... yeah. Stick your off element healer in the back and control Eli or Celi for dps. The game gave you two good water units for free, pick one.
I hit 7k a little earlier, and was able to get one of my bots upgraded with a water elemental weapon. I can now pretty reliably kill two volcanoes on my own, which is nice. If even one teammate has enough braincells to kill a volcano, then we'll be drowning in dragon energy.
One problem that I've been running into though is that I've also been running into teams that are lacking in DPS and fail to break the boss from the enraged overcharge state to the broken state. This leads to him using TWO volcano attacks in just the one overcharge state. This makes things dicey since I'll probably need to burn all of my cooldowns to clear out a free space by my lonesome, and then my team is vulnerable to taking some damage due to lack of i-frames. Problem is that when this happens and I get run ragged clearing up the volcanoes and bringing i-frames back online, usually my teammates get their asses handed to them and then we're lacking in DPS to clear the run. The main culprit seems to be people padding their teams with wind units, leading to massively reduced DPS output. Especially that "Hawk" guy. I get that he's likely a prized unit of theirs, but if you're going to bring him to a fight where he's actually disadvantaged then he better be bringing 4k might by himself. You don't NEED to bring a mono-water team, but your non-water units had better be appropriately overleveled to make up for the handicap. We've been over how might is a bad metric, but IMO 6k might is roughly the barrier for entry to expert with a mono-water team. Mid to high 5k if you have a fairly optimized mono-water team.
For anyone using a katana unit (like Celliera), it seems like the optimal attack chain when DPSing against the boss is to execute the 5 hit combo and then proceed into a force attack. So that's four basic attacks, then you'll see the character jump backwards and sheath their sword. After a moment you'll see a glowing sparkle flash accompanied by a "scwhing" sound. Executing an attack immediately after the schwing will cause you to dash forward with a heavy hitting attack that does a lot of damage, hits TWICE, and generates a lot of ability charge. There are some recovery frames after the 5th hit, but you can make use of them to start charging a force attack.
Also, one way to avoid losing all of your DPS when the boss moves his legs away from you is to try to attack your way through him. You can do that by doing some basic attacks against him, and then charging a force attack during the recovery frames so that you can dash attack through him and close the distance to his legs. It would be easier if we have CORRECT aiming and not this backwards aiming that we have now. I've scoured the settings but I don't see a way to invert the pants on head force attack aiming.
is the avenue to power/fortune/elemental ruins quest setup similar to a lot of other gatcha games? I remember puzzle and dragon DS had a system almost exactly like it.

Can anyone tell me how to get Pele to drop? I've tried countless 10 pulls and all I'm getting is garbage.

The blazon summons deplete the pool as you go. Think of it less like drop rates and more like a box of goodies. Eventually you'll empty the box. Just keep pulling and you'll eventually find her. Just don't hit the reset button until you find her (I don't think that you can hit the button before finding her or the Paladyn defender wyrmprint)
pele is one of the items in the blazon ticket pull box, just have to keep pulling from there until he either drops or everything else is dropped and he's the last thing left and he's forced to drop. Then reset the box and start over to get more copies, each reset increases the number of non-rare/pele/event wyrmprint items in the box though and so increases the amount of times you statistically will be expected to pull before you get pele again. Also you can get one copy of him from farming 300 silver emblems, which drop from every difficulty of the raid boss.
Reddit says today's shop has Light Metal which is apparently needed for 3* weapon upgrades so I grabbed all 20 at 300 rupies a piece. Game needs a multi-buy feature.
This tip was pretty invaluable to me getting my lineup of water weapons complete. FYI, light metal is in the shop again for anyone else who has plans for making 3* weapons.

The really incompetent people have come out in force tonight. Kill the damn volcanoes.
Let me one-up you.
Almost down, it's hit overdrive, 10% HP left, the usual everyone goes dragon and slaughters it while it tries to summon the volcanoes. The host went down to the attack right before. The host hits give up.
...Everyone loses because they couldn't wait ten seconds for it to die (and, for the record, you still get rewards in that situation).
I died to Mercury Expert using Hawk because she didn't stop chasing me, knocked me down, then did her huge purple death AoE while I was trying to run with Bogged status.
I've got enough Wyrmite saved up for another 10x summon, but I'm thinking about waiting for the next banner because I REALLY hate Lilly's voice and I don't want to roll her.

mercury i find to be very tough due to that whole situation
I decided to do a 10x roll again and pulled my fifth copy of the 4* Ice (Water) dragon Poli'ahu. Two of them are currently in use buffing members of my water team, but once this event is over I'll be unbinding my main copy. She's been working out pretty darn well so far and I like her a lot. What's really nice is that her attack inflicts the freeze status without fail*, so it's really great for keeping rare enemies or bosses from jumping around and messing with you. I like to think that it makes up for her attack stat being lower than other dragons since she's free to just wail on a helpless target while heavier hitting dragons potentially need to chase the target around the room.
*I've witnessed some bosses resist the freeze, so there must be some avenue for it to fail. I presume that it doesn't fail by default, and that bosses have their own resistances that give them a chance to resist.
When stuff says without fail I think it means that it’s applied with each attack, like it’s not every other attack freezes or has a 75% chance to apply poison or whatever. But that’s just for whether your attack has that property, the recipients resistances come into play after that.
Maxed my Pele. Something I didn't realize: once you pull the full set, they take him out of the reward pool. If I'd known I wouldn't have done the last reset because the other good rewards were still in there. Also, no farming a full 5, full max set of Peles.

I see. That's weird wording. It's her special that has the freeze effect, and the numbers must be stacked heavily in my favor because it freezes at least 90% of the time.

I wouldn't mind it if it weren't for the floor being spikes. The controls in this game are too bad for that many floor hazards to be up 24/7
