Katana and Knife characters seem really good.

Knife characters are great for farming because they dash straight into enemies

But that, combined with their short range and attack animations makes them feel like a bit more of a liability than a lot of other weapons

axes have real good crowd control and probably the best focus attack, I think the worst melee weapon moveset is probably straight swords

I've been using Xainfried a lot during the raid, and I used Ely a good deal before that

Nice thing about spears is that they have longer range than it initially seems, and it's easy to charge their focus attack during their last attack in their chain

The only thing I don't like about spears is that the feel a bit too linear. Good range, but hitting groups of enemies doesn't feel as simple as with the katana.

I like spears for poking stuff. Daggers are fun with the slashy slash backflip charge back in slash but it's real easy to not notice when the enemies are suddenly inflicting status on me before whacking my prone body.

Yeah, the actual range is kind of silly, and it's really useful. If you're on the normal boss run of the event, where the path snakes back and forth? Spears can kill the mages across the pits, it's nice.

I should probably do the actual story, currently starting Chapter 4, so I can get more structures to build. Level 34 but my Castle is slowed down at Facility 135 when it needs 200 for the next upgrade.

Also I'd like to unlock Imperial Onslaught so I can get those daily whetstones. Gonna need them.

At least... 14 I think? Maybe more. Leveling also requires onslaught drops but even at level 1 they give a nice bonus

Jesus H. Christ the material requirements to make a single elemental weapon as fucking insane, and you have to make FIVE OF THEM to get a single one to max level.

Yeah, that's my major roadblock right now. I have nowhere to get the ore or whetstones to craft or upgrade all the weapons. I finally saved up enough to make the additional 25 I needed to get started, but now I have to max level and enhance all of those, which costs even more materials. The unbind and level the main weapon, and pay even more to craft up the next tier.

And then make 100 more and do all of that four more times...

i just carried a raid instead of being the dead one and it felt so goooooood

everyone else died during the spin dash phase, so i spent 2 minutes going to town,
rotating characters for skill activations, and cranking out maximum dps.

edit: won with 5 seconds left, it was epic.

A ten pull is more value than a single pull sheerly because you are assured a four star SOMETHING, be it dragon or hero or wyrm print. So yeah, use it on that.
