Silas' Sphere of Transmutation turns into one of 4 random items:
Silas' Vial of Continuous Curing: a reusable Coastal Healing Potion.
Silas' Decanter of Disguise: a costume item, similar to the Coin of Many Faces (except non-player models).
Silas' Stone of Transportation: summons an interactable eye, which allows you to teleport to any npc hub in your current zone.
Silas' Potion of Prosperity: doubles(?) the proc chance of your Rank 3 BfA alchemy craftables for 10 minutes.
They're things you would want at pretty wildly different play times, so getting a random one is pretty stupid.
I forgot languages existed until some VOID ELF just came and STRUCK UP A CONVERSATION in fuckin' thalassian
this game can still be cool sometimes we got our sides to stop fighting each other at a WQ and take turns
that's really inefficient. Do you know what is efficient? Murder. If the alliance are all dead you never have to take turns because it's always the hordes turn.
Yeah. I always point to Titan EX in 14, I think it’s my single favorite raid boss in any game, and the dynamic music shifts between phases is probably a big part of that. It’s not even a song I want to listen to outside of the context of that fight!
I haven’t played since heavensward so there’s probably some other good music by now, but I gotta give it up for Ink Long Dry https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ExXhr8ch8Mk

My plans got shifted around so it looks like I'll be able to raid tonight after all
Now I’m just thinking about 14 music. When you do the Hard dungeons and the music swaps between two tracks for being in and out of combat, and the combat music owns: that’s good
The last thing I played was in 3.2, where you finally end the dragonsong war, and in the run up cutscene it starts playing the heavensward theme I can’t remember the name of. The song plays without restarting through the cutscene, loading screen, keeps playing as you queue into the instance (final steps of faith, baby!), load into the instance, and then dynamically changes with the boss phases. It’s ambitious as hell for an MMO, and worked super well. I imagine it’d work less well if you have to queue as DPS and wait 10 minutes though...

The tracks they have are good, but they’re all recycled and not used contextually or thoughtfully
The peaceful music during the Grodd fight is super jarring to me
Tonight is the league championship for dodgeball. My team went undefeated during the regular season and tonight we’ll hopefully finish the job.
But i’ll have to miss tonight, after this week i’ll be more available on Thursday.
You gotta win tonight Marathon, you gotta win this for me, your pal Skragg. So bring home the gold! Dodge the ball but don't dodge to dodge your destiny!
The lyrics to the Sophia theme are also all sorts of messed up, but you don't notice and its the type of song where you might end up happily humming along.
it's just funny they gave that design to some miniboss robot since "zodiarc" is already taken

My God I wish they would hire composers to do the shit that FF14 does in WoW.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
The stuff that Blizzard has done with cutscenes, with their engine, is nothing short of miraculous.
The music has no excuse. There's no reaction anymore.
You ask 10 people who played vanilla what their most memorable moment is, and somewhere on that list 'the first time walking into stormwind' is likely on every single one. That's largely because of the music that swells when you're crossing that bridge for the first time

So that ones random as well I guess.
that's pretty cool.
It should really be full repair cause why not that has some non small micromanagement value

So that means that technically we got Jaina to 14%. Damn we're good. Making progression and it wasn't even raid night.
So that won't lead to some dumb toxic nonsense going forward.
"can u craft me some flasks, what silas did u get today?"
"The eye"
"ok later"
The note says it was a fix for 3/12/2019 so I think our attempts were with the nerf already in place.
What I got must've been entirely underwhelming, because I don't even remember. Downgrade gloves maybe?
Their scenic music is awesome, but it’s ALL scenic music, even when something exciting or important is happening

Also I forgot how cool Garlean judge names are
a final fantasy 14 raid would never reference an earlier final fantasy that's preposterous

Zodiark is an FF12 optional boss that...does not look like that
