But also Halloween is soon! Costumes? Ideas? Plans? Discuss!
Also days are getting shorter, which is a bummer, but it gives you more excuses to ensconce yourself indoors and indulge in your indoor activity of choice!

I claimed ~1/8th of an acre of the community garden early in the spring
I started easy with leafy greens and other quick-grow crops, but in late May I did some pumpkin research
Mid-June I planted 'em, nurtured them all summer long, harvested 47(!) healthy specimen when all was said and done

I haven't been back to the community center since the day I harvested (we usually go every other weekend), but my understanding is that there is not a scrap of my pumpkins left in the place :P
I guess "Suggested Donation" was a pretty attractive price for many families
