Listening to the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project, specifically the L. Ron Hubbard episode
PFT being introduced as Martin Martindale and immediately going "Actually, its Martin Margotdale!" wrecked me
Also Stump the Clear was fantastic and Matt Gourley is quietly one of the funniest improv dudes alive

Austin gave Keith way too much power with that +12 roll rule
he can start birthing some real monsters
is aiding rolls still a thing in the system they use? because now he's with other party members they can all give him some serious boosts to get him up there

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Advice shows for the modren era and comprehensive guides to bands that peaked in 1987 are sadly underrepresented.
Hey now, Automatic For the People and Achtung Baby were early '90s
I didn't say they didn't do anything good after (I even like Songs of Innocence), but both peaked before that. On the right day, I'd even say they both peaked in '83.

Eh, it's not like, that directly useful a thing, so I don't see it as a problem. Like, it's not like he can get a lucky roll and kill an enemy with it (although he probably could do this with the right unlucky roll still).
Dungeon World does have aiding for a +1, although I feel like it should also be noted that along with aiding you can interfere, to give a -2 to another player.

The main podcasts I listen to are The Bill Simmons Podcast, the Order 66 Podcast, The Dungeoncast, Dragon Talks, Hardcore History, and Pod Save America.
So 3 gaming podcasts, a sports podcast, a history podcast, and a politics podcast. I mean, that just about sums me up perfectly.
But how the hell are you going to make a PS1 Classic and not have any Crash Bandicoot games
Or Symphony of the Night
Or FFT
Or Tomb Raider
Or
Like I get it is licensing more than anything but when you're including Cool Boarders 2 and Destruction Derby on your HERE ARE THE CLASSIC PS1 GAMES box something has gone wrong

The coolest thing they could have done would have been getting a game like Suikoden or Suikoden 2 that is a huge cult favorite but hasn't really been widely available outside of a PS1 Classics release in 2014 but that's PS3/PSP/PS VITA exclusive.
There are more than a few PS1 games like that and would have been a really neat incentive.
Twisted Metal 1 over Twisted Metal 2 is a confusing choice, but between Puzzle Fighter, Oddworld, Tekken 3, Rayman and MGS it's got a few solid games, at least.

The main reason I think the selection is subpar is in comparison to other Classics Consoles
The NES Classic had basically everything you could ask for
And the SNES Classic had a fantastic list of games that genuinely felt like all of the classic must-haves, with only a handful of missing contenders, and it had a lost unreleased game in the form of Star Fox 2.
In comparison, a PS1 Classic with just 20 games, with about a third of them being pretty middling choices and a bunch of huge gaps in terms of iconic games for the system is really lacking

It's nice to see him recognize who the smartest person on the show is.

Oh yes, the Garbage Pail Kast.
This selection kinda sucks?

Given the trouble getting the Crash collection made, expecting them to be on this thing was, at best, optimistic.
Dealing with Konami is probably a nightmare these days, so getting MGS on there is a minor miracle as far as I'm concerned.
The only real surprise for me is no Gran Turismo, but that's probably locked behind a music licensing nightmare, like Tony Hawk would be.
