Ugh, I do not understand what's going on. My first two Phoenix kills were like "huh, that wasn't so bad. Plenty of time buffer, shouldn't be too bad to farm this."
No many how many times I enter the same sequence of buttons, 20 attempts in the last hour have all progressed differently, and to failure. It's like the worst kind of Chaos Theory. Taking a break so I don't snap my phone in half or tear out all my hair. But seriously what the FUCK with different people going in different order every time.
E: Finally got the bastard again. Only 8 more times to go.
Machina Burst. This is a weird one. Dark/Earth attacks, grant allies a 30% max HP Bubble, and commands that boost spellblade damage or give the user a Bubble. Not too shabby, but I think Bartz is still my fave Earth spellblader; maybe if I need the extra defense over Bartz.
Wow, that's pretty great. My physical dark team has gone from "basically nothing" to "Garland chain, Sephiroth USB2, and Sice USB" in very little time and with very little effort. Bad news for Lakshmi I guess.
FFT: 1/3, disco - Marche USB (dupe). Eh, fodder for the 7* weapons.
I'm hoping someone with a newer account gets my RoP luck - between Cinque USB yesterday and Marche USB today that's a hell of a beginning to these pulls.

Looking at the future...is Magic Dark really a bad idea against Siren?
It depends on your options.
Siren will always use Savage Lunatic Voice (partywide Holy damage, chance to Silence anyone hit) at least once, usually twice. If you're running a Dark Mage team and most of your guys get tagged with Silance, that's a run ender.
Now, there are ways around this. If you have a source of Astra (Status-ailment blocker shield) that can be cast on the first turn, before she uses Lunatic Voice, that can make the Silence a moot point. If you have lots of armor that provides Silence resistence (since you'll need Holy Resist on your accessories), you can make it less likely that she'll drop it on you. Alternatively, someone with a way to clear status ailments from everyone (preferably one that isn't subject to being Silenced itself) can be an ace.
Dark Magic is a viable option; it's just that it has a particularly nasty move to deal with that a Dark Physical team can largely ignore (outside of hoping it doesn't land on the healer).

I'm not up to the requisite "can pull on everything" mythril yet, so I'm only pulling on realms with lightning or water chains right now.

Montblanc LMR - Dupe
Agrias OSB - New, have her lmr/bsb/usb1/legend dive. This is also my 8th holy sword and 10th holy weapon overall.
God, I haven't gotten a decent Tactics relic in, like, years. I still don't really have anything much better than Shout and Orlando OSB.
E: boooo there's a spot where he does 4 things in a row which the mblink from Alma's burst doesn't help.

Am I thinking about the wrong Siren? I was talking about 4-star Holy Magicite Siren.
And as far as I know, the 5-star Holy magicite targets are Madeen and Lakshmi.
