The record dungeon update helped up my mythril count, and with the mythril from the XIV event I should be able to afford a pull here and maybe the Black Friday draw, depending on what exactly is going on with that.
On the other hand, water chain next week so maybe I should save a pull and try there instead.
I mean I already have Rikku's Chain, Yuna's Healer USB and Tidus USB+AOSB combo. But fuck I want Waifu BUSB just to have more Tidus in my life. And I need a new Blitzball for Wakka.
Someone mentioned earlier getting a group together to do the Omega multiplayer. Now that I have a non-garbage phone, I can actually contribute to multiplayer. LMK if someone picks a time to do MP, I have lots of availability over the holiday.
And yet cloud 1 is actually pretty pedestrian and has been for a while outside of rw usage, even in its heyday with omega rush. The treadmill never ends.
Pinning my progress on possibly getting the new hotness in 6 months is great, but like Cloud USB1 there's always the possibility that I'll never actually get the it either.
I'll just spend/save when I feel like it I guess.

You'll get them eventually. They go into the new Realms on parade!
I’d probably still take elarra over that outside of fights with a ton of debuffs. Curada generates a ton of meter so the gain to wrath isn’t very large and regenga is a ton of healing that doesn’t require actions, freeing elarra to do anything or even die while still healing.

Waiting for Friday and testing the Torment, but I am tempted.
Had an extra 100 gems from buying the USB Dream Pull, so I spent 'em here and got Potato USB. With that (and his LMR+OSB) I believe he should kick Braska off team fire-magic. Useful!
If the BFriday lucky is 25 mythril I can pull both once on this banner and the lucky. If not, I'll have to make a decision. I only have two dupes on the banner and this is some good stuff so I may have to skip the lucky.

Debating one more shot, but I'm now at five dupes. My main target is Alphinaud CSB, of course, but some of the other stuff looks good, if not immediately magicite-worthy.

Sometimes it’s like the soul break names are translated from the Japanese version of FFRK without checking the original game.

You're right but also I'm like legit happy to get Alphy's CSB not only because it's amazing to have chains, but it's the start of SMN's Heavensward relic chain! I mained SMN before the Bahamut-Egi days and rocked that same book for a while so it was so great seeing that weapon pop up.

Also did my Daily Draw and whoops a Disco! Cloud USB2 ... dupe. Oh well, it's still a 6* +Wind Bracer. I should probably keep these separate, huh?
I know it doesn't work that way, but I can't help but feel if I'd done the daily draw, then the 100 gem draw, I'd have gotten the 3* on the daily draw, and a disco on the FF14 banner. Oh well, I'll never know.

Is Thancred's USB not that useful? Browsing the Reddit pulls thread, people seem down on it, or at least not enthused by it.
I guess breaks aren't that good anymore, but a Brave attack with ninja cast time that runs off ninja cast time abilities seems solid? Especially with an instant entry.
I can’t see anything wrong with a move that hits instantly and globally boosts ninja damage. I mean, ideally it would be Earth/Dark/Water damage, of course.
Couple quick things - I'll be about to get to 50 by tomorrow thanks to realm dungeons, the "Sin attacks" animation is very very good in the realm dungeons, and I think I'm pushing a month without a daily rainbow now.
Also, in more pertinent news, Enlir is taking a break from the game, so we may be losing any further updates on his spreadsheet.
