Do power up dungeons close and reopen or just stay open through 4A?
Power up dungeons go back to their regular schedule on Wednesday evening, same time as the kingdom hearts event closes. I suspect they'll reopen in a couple weeks for the anniversary.
USB select closes one week after KH.
Realm dungeon half stamina lasts until the middle of April for whatever reason.

Yeah, what with cheap dungeons and that I can get a better bang for my mythril out of RoP than betting it all on a KH pull... and because yes I need more relics and LMRs, too.
Ever have one of those moments when you realize you actually had some decent breaks for a character that might just help give you a leg up on a certain pain in the ass boss fight but you never bothered to see just how much you actually had for them?
I've been sitting on a half-decent Rikku with USB2, and I'm thinking since I don't have Tyro's massive wall, maybe let her take over defensive duties against Nightmare CPU? How does Hyper Mighty G compare to Tyro's Godwall, anyways?
EDIT: They're identical with the Haste/Protect/Shell on everyone, but HMG boosts attack and magic a moderate amount, where Godwall buffs defense and resist...

Only thing that keeps me from using it as much as I once did is that I'm using Entrust a lot, and Rikku ain't got that. Still, she's got Thief, Machinist, Sharpshooter, and Dancer, so she can do good stuff.

Basically, it’s a self-sufficient version of Raging Waters that doesn’t require the use of Reflecting Pool. Not too broken; the best thing about it is that you can carry it alongside Raging Waters or Stitch In Time/Mug Bloodlust.
Also, 6-star Earth Knight. 5-hit Earth Attack that scales in damage with DEF. also increases user’s DEF when used. Not as good as Healing Smite, but it’s good for extra meter.

That looks like a new trend for 6* abilities - combining previously separate combos so that the biggest benefit is freeing up an ability slot. That ninja ability is both parts of the washing machine, while the earth knight one combines Gaia Cross and Earthbringer.
Imagine a 6* heavy combat ability...

Hahaha. I tried to bring Axel to a Manticore fight, as a test of his skills. But I think that I accidentally pushed his ATK over his MAG, thanks to my improperly inherited Magicite deck, and Gilgamesh’s chain.
Meaning that all his soul breaks and chases were hitting for physical damage, against the anti-physical boss. Oops

Ramza chain, TGCid USB, WoL with BSB into AOSB makes for some pretty potent offense. Ellara USB and Larsa BSB covered the defense.
So much easier with haste though, I'm too used to RW Godwall covering it.
Ugh, growing pissed with Geocities fight. Ended up pulling Palom from the USB Select. In the meantime, I'm just taking my anger out on 280 Torments and Sub 30ing a bunch I hadn't yet.

No progress on Adamantoise, so I went back to Syldra to farm more +20 MAGs.
I forgot how to kill Syldra. Attempt to relearn fight. Not working.
Change up some RMs and turn order, trying to make something consistent. Not working.
Change up the team composition a bit. Not working.
Back to saved team. Change up the second half the fight vis a vis Ignis. Get a kill! "I think this is repeatable."
Narrator: it wasn't. I eat my words. Struggle a bit more. Change up healing strategy. Finally get enough Syldras.
My main takeaway is once you're in the zone and know how to kill something, farm it as many times as you need/can stand in one sitting, since the curve to relearn the fight is steep.

Congrats, that's a huge achievement that maybe I'll get someday. You really make me wonder what the point of my last 4 years of playing this game was. Would I be better off starting a new account? Probably. So much of my story mythril is tied up in 0/11.
I mean I remember I started playing waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day and quit around FF13's first event which introduced Lightning. I mean power creep will power creep. Still, just thinking about all those story dungeons...*shudders*

To save your sanity, just remember that the difference between (Ward 8 + Ward 8) and (Ward 8 + Ward 5) is literally 1% effectiveness. If you want to double up your wards, inherit a 4* with Ward 5 instead of farming Geocities 16 times.

Shadowsmith has Wedge making a device that will allow him to communicate with some being in the Magicite records. The design document Wedge showed Tyro looks strikingly similar to the weird cloak worn by the mysterious figure who spirited Doctor Mog away (It also looks, to me, like Odin from the Magicite story events, but this hasn’t been mentioned).
So, Tyro is confused by the whole thing, and is trying to figure out what it all means with regard to the mysterious figure and Dr. Mog’s supposed betrayal.

Use wedge as an entrust battery, build a bunch of bars on the first two rounds (especially on tyro) , keep protect off the one you are attacking, haste off both of them. Try to save Vaan OSB until they are severely debuffed. Keep them blinded with Balthier if you can.

KH ends today, do your daily draw early for a double 2* orb today.
Tried Hades again and its still really hard for me, messed up and didn't have tyro on instacast for the dispel and so party wiped. Fun!
