This was the final match of the "Kota Umeda ~Mad Dog~ Seven Match Trial Series," which was the prize Kota received for winning the Maji Manji tournament early last year. Previously he's had to wrestle Go Shiozaki, Ryuji Ito, Masato Tanaka, Dick Togo, Shinya Aoki, and Daichi Hashimoto.
I love how hard Kota tries in this match, despite being way out-sized and out-skilled by Shuji. He's like a little ball of fire and kicks that just won't back down and even manages to catch Shuji off guard. Also, there's the little detail of the DNA guys being ringside for this match despite them all being in different units now which made me tear up just a bit.
It's no loss at all, and what caused it was one of the more gross things I've seen from a big name wrestler these days, but Ospreay finally deactivated his Twitter
Last week Sadie Gibbs pulled out of a STARDOM tour and went home to be with loved ones because a family member died and she couldn't deal with the stress and grief of the situation being so physically distant from everyone who could really support her during the situation. They've also added an update saying that their sources might have been seeing the backstage WWE.com bit they taped with Truth going looking for Jax.
Mexican favorite Pentagon Jr. will wrestle Angel o Demonio, the man that almost killed Puerto Rican wrestler El Cuervo with a cinder block. Más Lucha confirmed the news after a Klandestino wrestling show, “After the main event, Penta Zero M challenged Angel o Demonio to a singles match.” In the video, you can see how Angel o Demono tries to throw a cinder block at Penta, a playback of his atrocious incident last November.
Impact Estelar later reported the news in Puerto Rico, which alarmed many fans and wrestlers on the island. Many were outraged that Pentagon Jr. was giving air and work to a guy that threatened the life of El Cuervo de Puerto Rico. The article stated the following note: “What makes this even more serious is the fact that Pentagon Jr was one of the wrestlers who gave support to El Cuervo after the incident. Now the international star will be part of a promotion with the said assailant in what is promoted as a star fight.”

NXT was always a fun show to watch but from house shows to TV tapings I've heard some of the worst fucking chants.
"Pearl Harbor" and "Speak English" at Asuka, lots of whore and bitch chants, even one time where CJ Parker got "Tranny" chants once and that was no fucking fun.
Isn't his wrestling license suspended throughout Mexico? Why the fuck is he still doing shit?
Mexico City and a couple other parts of Mexico suspended his license in response to the incident. This match (his first back since the incident) was in Tlalnepantla, another city in Mexico but one that has allowed him to compete, same with Tultitlan

To be fair this show also has Hot Sauce in a title match (against the guy in this match??) And the first match of the Beach Bums against each other since they've broken up so they already had my money.
OK so I'm still mad that they made Rusev drop the title like immediately, and especially mad that they made him turn heel.
