The whole point of ARAM is that you just jump in there to have fun and DGAF. If you're getting tilted over the outcome of the game you're doing it wrong.
The point is to collect my chest and GTFO. I'm not getting tilted. I'm just rageposting over the frequent losses with hopeless teams.
I mean if you can have fun getting steamrolled with a 2k hero damage Butcher (end of game), then you are probably a rare entity who can have fun doing anything.

people don't like losing. *i* don't like losing.
there's nothing "wrong" about that at all.

I totally get being frustrated at losing and not enjoying it, but getting upset about losing an ARAM game because of your team comp or your teammates is like complaining that there is too much water in the ocean.
and I can enjoy the crying jordan "look at this team, we're gonna do great" meme

Sometimes ARAM is good, guys.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Maiev should be banned in aram like chromie, it’s ridiculous.

What grinds my gears about brawls are people who just quit out and leave you stuck with a bot if their favorite character isn't one of their 3. At least make an attempt.
Also the weekly brawls should give out a chest that's a better rarity than a basic chest.
Also, being on the worst daily quest streak of my career is extra frustrating. Tons and tons of 200g quests, and it's been at least 3 weeks since I've gotten a 600/800g one.
Officially the unluckiest CCG player ever.

This is a first for me. Normally when you get MVP, it says that you had best damage, best healing, most time on point, or good XP, or something. But here I got MVP for no reason at all.

If that's the case though then ARAM probably isn't the right choice for you. Sometimes you're going to lose because of dumb luck - not just because of team matchmaking but also the game itself. If that frustrates you then you've got a problem with the core philosophy of ARAM.

I’d hazard a guess it was from no deaths and a good portion of the time on fire.

That's probably the reason that I got MVP, but I'd expect it to still report damage absorbed or something even if I wasn't best in that metric. I'd expect ANYTHING to be reported at least.
IIRC, the matchmaker setup that match as four warriors and sylvannas. Maybe everybody else outperformed me enough in all of the warrior metrics that it didn't bother to report them on the the end of match screen, but leeching scarabs gave me the most self sustain and in turn the least deaths. I know deaths is a HUGE factor towards MVP but the game doesn't really openly acknowledge on the scoreboard that it is why you get MVP.

personally speaking i don't play ARAM because i think it's boring
what i said above was more of a generalized statement, not specifically referring to ARAM itself, but something that can be applied to ARAM regardless, and something that i think still applies to this current situation.
here's the thing: different people play the game for different reasons. some people just enjoy playing, regardless of outcome. some people only find joy in winning. there is no "wrong" way to play the game. telling someone that they're "doing it wrong" because they very plainly don't enjoy losing (for whatever reason that may be, even if it's something like randomly getting matched against a stupid bullshit comp) is kinda.... not super great? saying things like "well ARAM isn't for you" or "you've got a problem with the core philosophy of ARAM" just because someone doesn't enjoy getting steamrolled?
like, hey, dude, it's great if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind losing or w/e. if you're the kind of person that can just play the game and have fun regardless of the outcome, then that's awesome. not being sarcastic, i mean this genuinely. not everyone can do that.
but not everyone shares the same mindset and that's something you should keep in mind. that everyone plays the game for different reasons and your reasons for playing aren't necessarily someone else's. and just because someone else's reasons don't align with your own, that doesn't mean that they're "doing it wrong" or that they "shouldn't play." all it means is that you have different reasons for playing than they do. that's it.

no deaths is a gigantic effect toward mvp. if everyone else in the game has 3+ deaths and you have none, it's almost assured you're going to be mvp if you won.

I love how Rynox pops in like once every 6 months just to let people know he's alive, lol.
I don’t want anyone to forget about me, gonna build a new pc finally... Which I’ve decided I’m going to do, gonna need some advice from all’s of you.

Na bra I got the means. Got another fat raise from work and a new whip, dual income no kids, I can afford a new one now... Just Canadian maple syrup money can’t buy strong in USD at the moment so going to need advice. Are video cards still grossly expensive from bit mining or whatever?
Is there any new crazy CPU’s, or new technologies coming out soon in the mainstream market that I should wait for or just go hammer one together at any point in time?

Hey Rynox. I'm also in Canada. This is the build I went with just last month: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/DZHHTB. However, the GTX 1660 is coming out soon and the 2050 should be announced eventually, so you may consider buying either of those depending on what you want out of your machine. To me the 2060 or 1660 is the best bang for your buck. On the CPU side, I believe there are some good AMD ones coming out in the summer, though I'm not an expert on that as I just decided to spend some extra for Intel.
you used to be able to queue for ranked with a group of any size, right. then people complained it was too unfair going up against 3/4/5-stacks (despite the fact that, yknow, they too could queue into 3/4-stacks on their own team....) so blizz was like yeah okay fine fine and they cut HL down to duos and introduced TL as full 5-stacks.
but no one played TL cause that was insane so they opened it up to 2/3/5 and cut HL down to solo. no one played TL still cause it was a bit of work still trying to get that many people in so they opened up TL to any size queues incl solo. so now EVERYONE started playing TL and no one played HL because literally why bother with HL when you can solo queue for TL??
BUT NOW HL/TL are a fucking mess and the small ranked population has been split between these two queues so they need a solution, right. so, they're going to fucking merge HL/TL together and just have a single individual Ranked queue, where people can queue up solo or in a party of any size--
BUT WAIT
THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR???
Initial implementation for Hero League, the first Ranked Play mode in Heroes of the Storm, has been added to the game!
With Hero League, players will be able to queue up alone, or in a party of any size, for ranked, competitive matches against others of similar skill and party size.

I just wanted to be a pedant and say this math is wrong because you have control over one aspect of your team not being a potato at least (I.e. you)
