man the higher level I get the more I just hate fighting feral ghouls. Most enemies are still fine, though assaultrons can fuck right off, but feral ghouls are just the worst.
I don't mind fighting ferals aside from the rad worms. Really what I hate are robots and turrets. Fuck both of those.
Also ran into a hermit crab and that was fucking surprising to say the least.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Picked up this thing, its a little wonky working but paired with Marsupial I can get decently high up, looks wise it pairs well with Science Scribe gear, when worn it seems like a part of the outfit itself.
Edit: Bonus image.
Turret really didnt like that billboard thing.

Turrets have anger management problems in this game.
One time I came home to find two of them firing at each other nonstop and another time I found one just going to town on a chair in the front yard.

I like the Sunnys in Foundation but there needs to be a quest where one of them is a murderer or something (killed the third sunny?) and you have to shoot one of them.
"SHOOT HIM. I AM THE REAL SUNNY."
"NO. SHOOT HIM. HE IS AN IMPOSTER."
*Frantically points gun back and forth while sweating and tense music plays*
I kind of hate it because it makes it so easy to cheese things by jumping up on a roof. But I kind of love it because BOING BOING BOING I go where I want!

Since I assume you finished the wastelanders story is there some point of no return where I have to pick a faction to help over the other? I just want to know so I don't screw myself out of their stuff.

The quest titles let you know when you have to pick a side— you’ll reach a quest called “Siding with <faction name.” You get locked out of completing the main quest line for the opposite faction, but you don’t get locked out of running rep missions for them, so it’s still possible to grind for their end game stuff. You just miss out on any main-quest related rewards if you haven’t already done the missions for them.
It’s possible to run both factions’ main quest all the way up to the decision point so you don’t miss anything. You will incur a reputation hit to the faction opposite to the one you sided with, but you can still grind it back up.
I did finish a my ally quests over the weekend, man there were a lot of those, but because you're limited to one ally I don't want to get rid of her, so sorry other allies you're never getting helped

It's my understanding that once you have them, you can just store them back in your CAMP stash. You can only have one placed in your CAMP at any given time.

Yeah, when I stored Sofia's console, she disappeared. I'm assuming she's sitting somewhere among all the springs and lead scrap. I'll have to scavenge some pillows for her to sit on at some point.
Yeah, “Siding with” Quests is the point, game even straight up tells you when you try to pick one too, smartest thing is to get both to that point since the quests give reputation and rewards.
Also, if doing Foundation missions, strongly argue that noone should die if presented with an option.
Or you’ll lose out on the Chinese Stealth suit (Hazmat suit with invis and armor) and the plans to make it (cant be traded), which costs an insane amount of 5650 gold to buy plans for next highest rep with Foundation if you miss it.
You may also want to look up what the final decisions do in detail, when near that point. (Moment will be obvious)
Keep gold - Get 1000 gold
Share with Foundation - Get 500 gold and big rep increase with them, slight decrease with raiders
Share with Raiders - Get 500 gold and big rep increase with them, slight decrease with foundation.
Foundation and Raiders have different tiers of friendship, plans for sale is affected by these tiers, very different plans for each faction, you can get both sides full tiers eventually though.
Allies - You can swap out “Ally furniture” at any point.

Re: the spoiler
I've read arguments that it's best just to take all the gold. The amount of time you'd spend repairing your rep with the faction you did the mission for works out to be less than the time you'd spend grinding to get 1000 gold.

Yeah, I shared but would probably have changed to keep it all now.

Is there any point in gaining rep with Foundation when I'm just going to choose Crater anyway?
So I've finally had a chance to really dig into Wastelanders over the last couple weeks.
I love the update with the NPCs, but I'm also thankful I played the game at launch. Going back through the wasteland and witnessing the changes that are occurring across the landscape with the addition of NPCs is great, but I also cherish the memories of walking through the graveyard of West Virginia and exploring the bones of the first attempt to establish a new society.
Prior to the update, I said that FO76 was my favorite FO game. This update has established it as the best game in the series for me, without question.
The 86% positive rating (more that 2 hours played) is exceptionally well-earned. FO76 is a must play for any fan of the series. Despite the controversial launch, this update has enough wins for everyone, and likely makes this the game more people really wanted when Bethesda talked about a multiplayer FO.

Bethesda’s Automated Customer Service is the worst one I’ve ever experienced, what an absolute waste of time.
Takes a little over a week to get an automated response and then it asks for things directly specified in the ticket itself.
I'm glad I didn't play at launch because I like the NPCS and more "alive" feeling world, but I could see someone who played initially would definitely also like the feeling of people being back in the world as well.
So just to confirm what I already thought. The blood eagles and cultists weren't there at launch right? It was mainly robos and scorched?

Yeah the blood eagles and cultists came with Wastelanders along with floaters and wendigo colossus

Also currently flame damage is a bit bugged as I don’t think there’s any protection for it, making flame weapons a lot more viable. Flame floaters are really the most dangerous ones because of it

You use Treasury Notes to buy gold from Gold Vending machines, one in each faction area, you get those from doing events and daily faction quests.

To be fair, I'm betraying everyone whenever possible.
Finding out the survivor's story was very cool, but the quests were asinine, the set pieces haphazard, and the overall story super clunky.
Joshua is great.
The leader of foundation has the same voice actor as the dubbed version of Cowboy Bebop.
