I always liked how comfortable she looks talking to someone who looks so totally alien
Talking about headcanons i really enjoyed the probably accidental impression that she was kind of guarded in her dealings with the Federation but was almost immediately cool with U-mos, it's rad
My headcanon of the Metroid universe is that the Federation is super diverse and cosmopolitan, like you walk into a bar and it's like the cantina scene in Star Wars, or you just see thousands of different alien species walking around on the street on major trade planets or stations. The games mostly just have them default to humans when they show Federation scientists or soldiers, though, which is boring.

I want Samus to walk through a crowded city or three, but have it give players the same feeling of isolation and strangeness that we get when she walks through the caverns of an alien planet
I actually like eating the orange peel, and the first time I ever had a blood orange I ate it like an apple and I looked like a wild man with blood running down my chin.
My coworkers were more horrified that I like the peel than they were I was covered in what looked kinda like blood

That would be a big shame, wouldn't it? Everybody loves to Smash Bros.
Also of note: There has been a slight adjustment to the rules for stage picking this week! Instead of the winner of a match banning two stages, they will ban three, since we have so many legal stages.
Today on I have a phone app that messes with hues, here’s a character I wish was in smash just so Captain Falcon isn’t the only rep of his series; it’s Pico!
Pico is a retired military vet and maybe an assassin on the side, he debuted in the original F Zero alongside only 3 other racers, one of them being Captain Falcon.
It’d be nice to have him be his own character, but he could easily be a weirder clone of Cap, much like Wolf is to Fox.

I know, I know. I was just thinking the quickest way to put in another rep for F Zero is just make a Cap clone and change the values on things and change the angle on some moves.

Captain Falcon - Ganondorf - Pico

Also just as Captain Falcon is a really distilled archetype of the Saturday morning comic hero, Pico is every anime alien villain. You could line him up with the cast of Dragon Ball no problem, or pit him against the Power Rangers.
I actually really like F Zero’s aesthetic, being somewhere between pro wrestlers and comic book superheroes. Gives the whole thing this vibe as if it’s a cheap soap opera in space.
