Curious what "nerding out" on cocaine would entail.
Molecular diagrams about how it was getting absorbed, probably, though one of my old archaeology professors had some anecdotes about his time in Peru writing his thesis that might also count.
Also there was someone on a wall next to us who did a huge loud fart in the middle of the course. Totally nosold it, true professional.
what're you climbing these days?
You know that storage room in the back with the tall ceiling? The walls are just plaster so we punched holed for handholds. It was Kathy who started it though, I mean I only watched the other guys do it. I had no part in it know

I like Kathy's creativity. Starting on Monday, she's promoted out of the mail room.

I'm out of adderall as of yesterday so I came to work this morning hoping I could just squeak by without talking to anyone or focusing my brain too hard on anything and just do busy work I had lying around
I had it sprung on me this morning that I'm supposed to lead this meeting that involves like 11 people and a contractor where we're going to be designing a major new feature for the site
Cool cool

So my lease is up at the end of February and I finally pulled the trigger on upgrading to a 2-room, they say they have one available (downstairs even) and need me to get a deposit in on it soon, but I don't remember how much it was (they only told me verbally) and it was only payable through check/money order. Been calling them trying to get it today but they might've closed up early for an office Christmas party.
There's no punchline or anything other than maybe vaguely "Ugh, it's 2018 why is check or money order the only option" that's just where my life is at.

That's crazy. I can't hug every cat.
why is it if more than two people are involved in an email chain, at least one person will reply to an email from three or four emails ago and just upend the whole conversation and make everything confusing
probably because email is the dumb way to handle something that involves input from more than two people but
But really, does Sweden have the same indoor rock climbing levels that the US does? Is it an international standard?
I know there are two different grading systems at least, I seem to recall it differing between here and the US. I think, at least.
Here I’ve never seen lower than a 4 or higher than an 8. Number for main difficulty, letters a-c for slightly adjusted difficulty, plus appended if it’s extra but not enough to raise it one step.
So for example you’ll find a 6b+ then 6c, and so on. In my experience various levels of 6 maintains doable grips, though they’ll be fairly small. Level 7’s will have no normal grips, hold on by friction or fingernails, level 8’s are mainly for people with 50k views on their YouTube climbing channel.

It's not a real time game so it's not like it'd even be difficult.
Network coding and etc. is a different skill from slapping together a game, isn't it? And a more boring one
I bet asynchronous games would work and be easy enough, though

I love cats.
Boulder walls have the same grading scheme, the best I’ve done there is an 8a. The reason for that was my body type was made for that course, there was a trick to it where you had to only hold on by legs and that was the only difficult part. The grading for boulder walls is highly subjective though, they’ll raise it if there’s some have to do or if like the grips are extra far. I can often skip like 2 grips because my wingspan is over 210cm.

You’d be surprised at how many people are like “I CAN MAKE GAM” and they code up an eldrich horror where the game logic and the game display code are all mixed together and abstracting it to multiplayer is utterly impossible without a ground up rewrite.

scandinavian countries used the UIAA scale originally but modified it
In Sweden, Norway, and Finland, they originally used the UIAA scale. But since it was thought that 6+ would be the definition of how hard humans could climb, no climber wanted to put up this grade, leaving the entire scale very sand-bagged compared to the UIAA scale. To show that it is a Scandinavian grade, Arabic numerals are used (e.g. 5, 6, 7), and for UIAA graded climbs in Scandinavia, Roman numerals are used (e.g. V, VI, VII). In some guide books, where many Germans have done the first ascent, the UIAA scale is used for those climbs, and where the first ascent is done by a Scandinavian, the Scandinavian scale is used. The only way to know how the climb is rated is to know the first ascentist is German or Scandinavian. In sport climbing the French scale is pretty common (especially for the hardest grades), or both scales are used in the guide book, with the other scale in parentheses, i.e. 6+ (6b)
because you know, why make it simple or anything

It's slightly different than the base Risk ruleset but has online and fun characters. I remember playing a shitload of that on my xbox 360 back in the day.

Blowing lines and painting every fucking mini ever do you see how fucking awesome these little fucks are?
There's a lot of nerdy shit you can do while blowing lines!
Yea but I imagined like...getting really excited and doing events based around the concept of cocaine itself, not just doing things high on cocaine. So the whole "seminar on how it gets absorbed into bloodstream" was closest.

The fundamentals aren't super difficult to grasp. Someone who's working with the windows API or directx should be able to pick it up in a hot second.
Hell you could cheese it with a REST api and the dozen of sinatra-like systems if you really wanted to ezmode it.
have you looked at tabletop simulator? There's probably a risk thing for it
