Matt and Pat apparently are no longer friends or something, and the SBF channel is I guess donezo... this really bums me out. Friday Night Fisticuffs/Saturday Morning Scrublords has been a weekly ritual of mine for a while now. I've also loved all the Let's Plays they've done. The split appears to be at least somewhat amicable, so the channel is effectively dead but at least the old videos will remain.
Still, this blows
But if this is what's best for Matt, Pat, and Woolie's mental health and stress levels then I guess I understand.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

Someone put me onto the podcast around the third episode and I've been listening for years now.
Mostly I hope Matt and Pat work things out later on. Things have felt strained at times since Liam left and Woolie and Pat held the channel together while Matt sorted things out.
Woolie has had less stuff going on the side than the other two and I hope this doesn't leave him in a poor position.
He's probably not going to change anytime soon.
i really hope that woolie guests on pat's stream from time to time, like matt does with liam
i'm glad that pat and woolz will continue to podcast at least, i don't think my heart could take it if all three of them totally went their separate ways

It sounds like Pat and Woolie are still going to be doing things together every so often? So maybe that's ok. My wife tried for ages to get me in to watching them, and the first things I did watch were the souls vids that were mostly Pat and Woolie anyway. So if they do things together it's not as big a drag for me. I still haven't watched the pain they go through in the Omikron playthrough that she wants me to watch, maybe I should give it a go as tribute.
Also, if it wasn't for their playthrough of dark souls 2 I never would have bothered to try the games since I'd heard mostly that they were punishingly, obnoxiously hard.
Really gonna miss watching these guys collaberate.
LA Noire my vote for best series.
This was the first video I watched from their stuff all those years ago. After I figured out how to breathe properly again, I subscribed and never looked back.
This shit is a real bummer. I wouldn't have been as torn up about it if it was disbanded for health reasons or just general burnout (re: Liam), but hearing Woolie say that "Matt and Pat are no longer friends" specifically suggests that they had developed some sort of irreconcilable differences really hurts.
I also think it's strange that people have been going "well its been getting like that for a while, Matt has been phoning it in for ages" when he looked the most visibly upset about the whole thing.
I don't think its necessarily Pat's fault either or anything though, but man this really sucks. I think they all had a pretty vital role in forming the dynamic of their team (Liam included) and as much as I like the Pat and Woolie duo content I feel like people will be missing out on that group dynamic that added a bit more chaos and rowdiness to the whole act.
