They likely vet the submitted run, but maybe don't go deep into social media history of some of the runners, even though this happens time and time again.
I mean, even that above tweet where their status line mentions their hate towards feminism, they also identify as demi-non-binary. It's like being friends with LGBT people who voted for Trump - sure they exist, but why so conflicted?
I can't imagine that the volunteers who run the GDQs are able to dive into everyone's social media and go hunting for red flags, even though this one is really surface level.

As someone who is non-binary I feel comfortable saying that the bio is making fun of nbs as those pronouns are not common amongst anyone on the spectrum of fluidity

Thing is, the schedule's been out for a month. The volunteers may not be able to vet it, but the community can. And I don't mean fans and the like, but the people who are part of the speedrunning community the runner is representing.

I feel it’s even further confirmed by the fact that he didn’t use those or any other pronouns for that matter for identification on screen by GDQ. That’s certainly not to say someone who doesn’t have them up there is necessarily nefarious at all. But in context, it affirms things.
I’m pretty surprised because the RPG community is typically more sensitive than average to stuff like this, but it’s never been commented on before, especially if all it took was pulling up a twitter bio that is front and center immediately.

GDQ clearly doesn't mind fascism if it happens just slightly off camera I guess. It's ok though we put everyone's pronouns on stream that means we are allowed to invite at least 1 fascist to run at the event right?
This is a cynical read but despite their late night placement, FF runs always bring in a BUNCH of donations, and we have seen in the past that GDQ will almost always take measures to protect donations in the short term without any foresight about how those decisions will affect potential donations long term
