Enjoying the crowd doing a single clap in unison for every moon in this Super Mario Odyssey run.
Saturation of "Orb!" and "Waah!" shouts aside, the loss of audience response / interaction was a massive detriment to the online events and I'm glad to have it back.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.

I know they've played this game a ton, but all the runners ability to automatically tell what the next evolution will be the moment it starts to flash is real impressive. So many of them just look like a flashing blob to me since it's swapping between the old and new pokemon during that animation

If you didn’t catch the F-Zero GX run you owe it to yourself to see it, was the runner’s first GDQ and first submission ever and he rocked it, getting past some nerves to first time the sandbag incentive and just be generally really impressive. The highlight though was the couch mentioning skipping two capsules was “technically possible” followed by him doing exactly that like it was nothing. Was really cool.
I played Tunic on launch and got the true ending and I had no idea you could change the fox's color.
WHAT????
There's a little cave with dressing room style partitions you can walk behind to change your character's color. Not hard to find if you try to go behind everything as a matter of course, which is behavior that is constantly rewarded in the game.
It's a really minor complaint, but not having the category and run estimate time always on the overlay is kinda annoying.
So many times this week where I've been curious what the estimate of the run is and I can't find it anywhere before I remember that it alternates with the release year/platform and I have to just stare at that part of the overlay and wait for it to swap over.

I like the official one enough, but it would be much cooler if the design flowed into shirt and didn't just look like an iron on rectangle.
Ya I had never heard of this game, but they really just went "If Sega isn't gonna give us Monkey Ball then we'll just make our own.
Looks sick. Gonna have to check it out.
She's a little chess piece creature!
The Machine of War is pretty sweet looking.
Thursday has Monhun Rise, hyped
Is there an awful block this year?

Not my cup of tea at all.

So it should just be a ton of chaos.
3 hours is a long time though so I can understand being put off by that.

well I'm eating my words now
You can tell it was going to go over because Keizaron was there.
I like him and he's great at commentating but I don't think he's ever been under estimate at a GDQ event
The OoT beta run from TASBot may be the single best run of the marathon so far. You need to watch this.
