Honestly Awful Block hasn't been that 'awful' as far as the quality of the games go this year. Like at most they've been silly, but they function and aren't hard broken by casual play.
I've noticed some hosts / commentators calling it "Silly Block." I'm with them on it.

Also, what is the Dues Ex run that is coming up? Are they running all 3 games together?
Oh and Jedi Fallen Order. I was playing that last night (my first time through and I'm at 15 or so hours) and was wondering what speed runners could do with it. That should be fun to watch considering my main complaint against the game is that it's too slow.
Is Twitch dissolving? Every time I reload I get a different part of the window, but I can't get it to give me the whole thing. I refreshed until it loaded the video, now I'm afraid to touch it.

Hopefully GDQ staff stall until the issue is resolved.

Twitch dies around the same time every day for weeks now. It's real bad.
Well in the same 24 hour span they killed off the pogchamp emote (because the guy whose face it belongs to is an alt-right conspiracy nut and he was all in on the crazy shit that happened in the Capitol of the USA), and they also banned Trump's Twitch account (which I didn't even know he / his campaign had).
So there was probably some lame DDOS attempt against the site.
Man, that opening of the courtyard of ONI Alpha Site was a couple seconds of some real sick shooting. With the overpenetration of the splazer and sniper he killed like one and a half enemies per shot when killing those hunters and first few groups of enemies.
stalling for time to get the Halo 3 run in and folks behind the scenes are having some fun, the category for the ODST run has changed to "Epilogue% ?????" and then to "Campaign Lobby%" as they let the game run in the background.
but those extra few minutes were all they needed! that last rush to get the Halo 3 run was spectacular.
Hitting 1 mil on Thursday is a really good feeling
so far they've been trending pretty close to last years AGDQ, sometimes a bit ahead, sometimes a bit behind. but right now, if momentum holds, they'll hit $1M rough 2 hours ahead of when they did last year. will put them in a real good place going into the weekend.

It's official, they've broken the record for fastest $1m at any GDQ event. Not by very long, but they beat it.
Halo checkpoint is notoriously dodgy, I watched Matt Rorie fall down a cliff 15 times earlier this year as it checkpointed him with momentum to get yeeted.

Oh shit, the MGS: Twin Snakes run isn't just all dog tags on Extreme; they're going for the Big Boss rank too.
Edit - For those who don't know, it means using 1 ration at most (for healing), never getting caught by guards (there are 8 mandatory alerts that don't count against this), and never killing anyone.
