And they have been hella on top of the vods this year, way more than ever before where it seemed to take a month to get them all uploaded.

That mario run was fucking insane, and its amazing it was right in the middle on Wednesday. Felt like an end of the week event.

The new schedule page is really good, but I like the mini interactive schedule at the bottom of the twitch stream. Makes it super easy to check whats next and even scroll ahead of what they normally preview.

I have been really impressed with this AGDQ across the board. Faster setups, interesting interviews, speed runs with weird setups (yay peanut butter), etc. I just wish i wasn't so damn broke so i could contribute more.

I get that part but the actually using it to play SM64 is the part I'm getting stuck on.

It's a shame his drum solo during the credits is muted for dumb copyright reasons.

Pokemon Diamond, and they're playing 'Pokemon or Prescription Drug' with the donations announcer.

Nobody remembers the singer. The song remains.

Oh shit they had to block that out on the video? That's bullshit. It was amazing to hear that live.

That jhobs and spike interview was great. I never even thought about what it would have been like when webcams were way less pervasive and you would have no idea what the people actually looked like.

Only the end credits, but yeah, it goes silent as soon as the credits start on Youtube. Someone in the comments said the audio was still there in the twitch vod, so I might go and try to find that at some point.

I loved his little drum fills during the idle times of the run.

Today might actually be the first time I see the finale of a GDQ live. That double setup has them hella on-schedule.

Picked up the MegaMan rush and good boy shirts. Very tempted on the tasbot shirt, especially once i noticed it's arm is a little beam cannon, but i can't justify the cost at the moment.

I'm very surprised we haven't seen more Crowd Control games. That one with Andy doing LttP was a classic.

    i love this ending haha

This is the future. This is what we built. This is what we wanted. It must have been. Because we all had the fucking choice, didn't we? It is only our money that allows commercial culture to flower. If we didn't want to live like this, we could have changed it at any time, by not fucking paying for it.

So let's celebrate by all going out and buying the same burger. -transmet

Calofisteri introduced to the unholy power of speedrunning flowing in Faris' veins, but 45k away.

Edit: They hit 2.5m literally in the final menuing before Exdeath.

Was Omega originally planned to be after Exdeath? I sort of got the impression it was something they were originally doing beforehand, but dunno.

No, I'm pretty sure they intended to do it before, but... they dropped a save right before it.

They've been way ahead of schedule all event, I said.

Estimate for the finale isn't too far past bedtime, I can push it this once, I said.

    An hour later...

I think they added some of the backup runs to the schedule at points to push it back because everything was running so smoothly. And then the final run goes catastrophe on them and adds half an hour.

Even a 30 minute delay is way better than it ending at 4 am or whenever the finale was last SGDQ
