Hey everyone, hope you are all looking forward to PAX South next month. If you’re attending, and are of the cardboard persuasion, here is all of the info that’s pertinent to you.

Highlights this year include a handful of exciting new publishers (Lucky Duck Games, Deep Water, Games, and Floodgate Games, to name a few) and the return of True Dungeon (even further expanded, with three distinct adventures).

We've also continued to grow the Tabletop area, featuring a larger First Look zone, a more organized (and larger) RPG Zone, and the ever-increasing selection of titles in the board game library. Our biggest news is that a Learn & Play room will be coming to PAX South, after two years of overwhelming success at its debut con, PAX Unplugged.

All Magic: The Gathering events are now individually listed on the PAX schedule. Magic events at PAX South are run by Pastimes.

The Enforcer team will be running a few games debuting on the PAX tourney schedule for the first time, including Paperback, Root, Everdell, My Little Scythe, and Welcome To. We'll also be bringing back the hit Mega Catan 64-player event from 2018.

Cascade Games will also be hosting a variety of competitive organized play tracks for Asmodee, featuring KeyForce, L5R LCG, Star Wars Destiny, and X-Wing 2.0. They'll also have a track of events for Ultra Pro's VS 2p Card Game. All Cascade events can be found here, with some offering pre-registration.

True Dungeon
Returning to PAX South is the True Dungeon LARP, now with both the 24-minute free demo experience, as well as a full (paid) 2-hour adventure. https://truedungeon.com/pax-south for various timeslots on all three days of PAX South, with two different versions of the 2-hour adventure: combat-focused and puzzle-focused.

Learn & Play Events
Learn & Play sessions offer the chance to experience game night in a group setting. Attendees will learn rule for a hot recent game, or pairings of modern classics that go well together, and then get the opportunity to play these games in full, right then and there. Rules instruction is provided by a variety of hosts: Game publishers and designers, YouTube and podcast personalities, and even our own Enforcer staff. A full listing of Learn & Play events is available on the PAX South website.
