He has been credibly accused by many, many, many people of inappropriate and non-consensual touching (inclusive of kissing) of women and girls in many different contexts
He's also been accused by women who say that he groomed them as children when he was an adult
He's had a reputation as a creep and a jerk on the anime con circuit for years, and had already been banned from a few. Like you can find threads talking about negative rumors about him back for more than a decade. Obviously gladhanding and hugging fans is part of the job, but he had the reputation for being waaay too handsy, especially with starstruck younger female fans. It was one of those cases where there's no single ironclad case, but way too many rumors to be ignored.
So when there was finally a high profile voice actress who complained about him, it really exploded quickly. Funimation has now let him go, and all but one anime con that he was scheduled to appear at this year has cancelled him (and the last one is itself facing a possible boycott because it's ceo is also known as a creep). A lot of anime dub actors have made a point of publicly saying that they believe the accusers, he really doesn't seem to have any high profile folks interested in defending his character.

Get the guy who did DBZA to replace him in future english dubs.

The DBZA version of Broly is going for a much different effect than Super Broly.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

or actually now that I think about it I liked the hulked out voice, the regular voice was a vehicle for a joke about him being a wimpy loser type wasn't it?

As someone whose been watching the Super dub, I kind of think I prefer the DBZA voices across the board. Even Schemmel and Sabat, although it’s close enough that I can live. Though Schemmel gets points for just how much he gets into the screaming. There were times during the Broly movie I though he was gonna kill himself.

Yeah, I don't go to cons, so this is all news to me.
I'm continuing watching OG DBZ with the kids, and man. I just got to the Ginyu Force and while I'm disappointed that it doesn't have the amazing Ginyu Force theme from Kai (I think?), Jeice's Space Australian accent is phenomenal.
also since the dub isn’t on crunchyroll i watched the whole thing subbed and i grew to appreciate the japanese voices even though this is a rare anime that i had mostly only watched dubbed
Now all you need to do is buy a Figuart and you'll be set.
I suggest the "Goku a sayian on earth" because it's the best Goku available and you can buy third party heads for the various super sayian forms( except 3).

Frieza needs to get something in the W column sometime soon. He's supposedly on a power level roughly equivalent to Goku or Vegeta but seems to mainly job at this point

They basically do now. They were contracted to do the dub of a real anime.

Yeah he's got a great range, he's also Gecko Moriah in One Piece, which is not similar.
