The thing that gets me at this point is that shouldn't Trunks/Goten have grown like, at all by this point?
Isn't Goten around tween Gohan age? Isn't Trunks around future trunks' age at some point when he wasn't shown to be 3 feet tall?

I would have to double back and look at some of Battle of Gods but Broly has a pretty significant leg up for me because the animation is unbelievable, it consistently looks amazing for basically the entire runtime
Broly is probably my favorite but upon a lot of reflection I think I actually Resurrection F a whole lot. Like yes there is basically no tension and it’s clear basically from the word go that Goku and Vegeta are just messing around but I think I love that. I love that finally someone shows up to challenge our heroes and the heroes show up over-leveled and just have some fun. The fact that none of the three movies have really tried all that much to up the stakes and instead keep things fun and personal is probably their greatest strength.
Also Freiza’s best line is definitely “all hail Vegeta, prince on no one”.

I would not be sorry to see the events of the Broly movie adapted to an anime arc. I think they learned their lesson about how not to do it with the first two arcs in DBS. I'm sure they could do better.
Apparently the original script for Broly came out to like 3 hours, so it sounds like there was a lot of material that was cut. An anime arc would give us the chance to see it. I wouldn't mind more exploration of the era before Planet Vegeta's destruction. Especially expanding on the events of how Beerus apparently prompted Freeza to do the deed.
Also seems that there will be several Dragon Ball related announcements at Jump Festa 2020 later this month, so hopefully fans will get some idea of whether or not the DBS anime will return or if there's going to be more movies or whatever.
