It does go up actuslly. It should be soonish. I was hitting the cap a lot and i ended up buying max stacks of all items used for expeditions. That helped a bit

It "should" be. It was supposed to be in the update where we got the passive stat max increase from 300->400% and got the re-vamped arena and little emblems. But the gil cap increase was skipped for some reason. So it could basically be anytime from next update to being the new arena ticket upgrade and take a year or more for some reason known only to Gumi
If you haven't hit 100 7* units awoken, bringing up some units to 7* even if it makes the crummy moogle might still be the best way, so you're ready for whatever day Gumi brings Expert missions over.

Was there that much conflicting code to prevent them from updating? I'm confused why they are walking back what on the face seems to be uncomplicated changes.
Greetings Starfighter! You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada.
My assumption would be that their code is complete spaghetti and trying to force that change in ahead of something else they do NOT want in could seriously break shit so they're waiting. The in-game announcement mentioned versioning via the app stores, so it's possible they got the code to work but not in-time for Apple or Google to approve the update so rather than have another debacle where they lock certain players out for days at a time they chose to postpone it.
I'm glad parameter missions are still coming as expected. The other changes are just cosmetic things, and only one of the changes will have any real positive impact.

Yeah I bring a friend bunny god and use my Loren to break him. Four Xons, one with pod and a lightning sword, one with crazy day, and the other two just looking pretty.
I still need to get the LB damage TMR from Kyanos and kill Asura for that materia to max her LB damage, but I'm leaving mine at max ATK for now for the event. She nearly solo kills the Egg on LGD with Crazy Day and World Destroyer from Xons.
I really want 7* Sylvie for support buffs, but I will wait to UoC or random pull her eventually. We "should" get a bunch of rainbows from the 3rd Anniversary celebration.
So, I just realized that I already have the lvl 4 rare mod on my Tropical Delight which is 20% MAG & MP - so 50% MP total. I thought it was HP all this time. So that means that I'm about 10% MP away from hitting the MP parameter mission on Rem or CG Nichol. If I can get 30% MP on a bowie knife then I've got it... if...
Otherwise, I need wait until there is another 30% MP accessory that is not TT's TMR (which I only have 1 of).

Ok guys. Is Esther that good if I lack all tbe equipment I need?
I have 61k lapis. I could try a full step up to try to get her, but I don't really care for her. Is she better/equal to Akstar or Hyoh? I Have a fully leveled Hyoh and I can use him and akstar without compromising on equipment. So...
Would anyone sell me Esther or is it better to continue saving for Akstar?
Oh, I also have around 240 regular tickets, 170 ex tickets and 32 UoC tickets.

Not to be too much of a downer, but every pull video that I have watched (except for 1) has pulled off-banners from the 5* ticket. Just be prepared for disappointment if you go for it.
From a value standpoint, 4k is worth it for a 10+1 and a guaranteed 5*.
From an optimist standpoint, you could pull an Esther from that step AND get her from the 5* ticket!
Esther does literally double the damage that Akstar does over a 12 round rotation, while being incredibly tanky with around 13k HP. She's pretty easy to gear since she has innate 150% TDH (or 250% DH). She has AT frames, Bolting Strike (new chaining family, will be expanded with future GLEX units according to the Easter livestream), and her main damage source of an LB chains with AR. She has the ability to use a wide swath of weapons (only 60% of her innate ATK boosts are tied to greatsword) allowing her to cover pretty much every element through gearing. She heals from Lightning damage, so any upcoming trials with lightning make her laugh.
That being said, there's always a chance that Akstar will be buffed to account for Esther breaking the damage dealer meta.
As for Hyoh, either of them make Hyoh look like Bedile.
Last I heard, she's nearly twice as good as Akstar. About 70% better. I think her 6* form (without TDH) is actually better than 7* Hyoh (with TDH). With TDH, 6* Esther is way better than Hyoh, doing about the same damage as Fei.
A 6* unit is about equal in terms of DPS as Fei, who was released a few weeks ago.
6* Esther chaining with a friend 7* Esther will do more damage than a 7* Akstar chaining with a friend 7* Akstar.
It's crazy.
This is a really good banner. If you're okay on tanks and healers, this banner will net you a top DPS and Support unit. If you get lucky.

As others have commented, she's good enough to keep your DPS spot locked for 4-6 months. And the other unit on the banner is an amazing support unit.
No idea what equipment you have but using FFBE Builder you can get her to over 12k HP and 2,300 attack with 4* unit TMR's. Zile's TMR, Hyoh's TMR, her own TMR's (if you don't have Elfreeda/KH Cloud), Buster Style, LSM, and Adventure V. She'll have a great 2-handed lightning sword coming out with the challenge event in a couple days as well.

Edit.- Did step 1 again to complete 4 tickets for the 30% summon. Did not get any rainbows. Did the 30% summon and got Basch #3. Did not realized I could get off banner.
Edit 2.- Used a Guaranteed 5 star ticket. Got Ignis #2. Ok. Time for me to either stop or use all of my regular tickets.
Guys, I can get the SPR parameter mission with Eiko if I TMR Kihana's dumb necklace. It'll be useful for this one thing and this one thing only.
[edit] Or alternatively, I waste 200 lapis to respec Shiva for SPR and then respec her back to normal.
Lakshmi and Phoenix have high SPR, either one of them able to cover? I have a ton of moogles but I'd have a hard time spending 100% on that necklace haha. I'd definitely go 200 lapis.

As someone who spent $100 to get 2 Sylvies and 1 Esther, I echo Urahonky's statement
I would suggest doing step 1 on lap 2 to get the 4th ticket. It's a 5* ticket with 30% chance on banner. If you get Esther, you can save UoC's. If you get Sylvie, it's a great STMR.
