Lakshmi and Phoenix have high SPR, either one of them able to cover? I have a ton of moogles but I'd have a hard time spending 100% on that necklace haha. I'd definitely go 200 lapis.
It's either the 200 lapis or wait for an accessory to show up that has 42 or higher SPR.

I'd look at it this way. 200 Lapis for an STMR level robe is probably worth it. Aerith I think is probably coming in June now, so still at least a month away.
EDIT: I'd have to UoC a 4th Ayaka and get an amazing IW run on her STMR to have a chance. So I'm going to have to wait till Aerith.

You got 4.5 times as many rainbows as I did. I got the bare minimum.
You could throw tickets at it if you want to save UoC's. They aren't limited units, so you could pull another Sylvie later. Generally I love saving my tickets for MK events and for on banner only banners. We've only had a few (Christmas and Xenogears part 1 drained me of tickets). Not sure we'll see many more in the future though.

That is an incredible amount of rainbows (9!!!!) for the amount of lapis spend. Holy hell! Not to mention all of the 7*s you got out of it. Eiko can complete the SPR parameter missions pretty well. Make sure to get her harp asap and run it through IW now! Try to get 30% SPR on it and that will get it done!
My advice, you can afford some rare tickets to chase another Esther. I would set a hard limit - like 40. No rainbows, then UoC another Esther next week. She's 100% worth IMO.

It's actually pretty easy to get SPR to 400% on Eiko. What will get you the parameter mission is the flat SPR from equipment and espers. Without STMRs, you need a pretty specific build to reach the target SPR. Hence my predicament.

Of course I get a rare on Yuna's staff, even though I didn't get a single +spr. Ended up with a +3 HP, +20MP and +15SPR. It could have been so much better.
Well we get 6 UoC tickets from the easy parameter missions, so that should help as well. I should probably re-try Greg 2.0 again for those UoC’s as well. Feels like Sylvie should help.

I finally managed to get the rare of Lilith's mace right before the end of the item dungeons, so that's +40% HP on top of the 20% that it already had. I only managed to get +15% SPR combined over the other two slots, but that's still quite good. That should help my magic tanking quite a bit.

Yeah GUMI kind of screwed themselves with Akstar. Esther is better in almost every way, she tankier (more HP/Def/Spr), she hits way harder, and she uses equipment more folks have. You can get a high damage 2-handed non-elemental GS from Squalls TMR, Loren STMR, Cloud's STMR, and KH Cloud's STMR. Vs Akstar basically needs his own STMR and it's the only source.
If GUMI could actually plan things, they would have been better off not having 3 weeks of dead space in January. Pushing Crimson up into March, while keeping Akstar for the week before easter. They should have made Ellesperis's TMR a 2-hander to get another source in the pool as well. I guess we're lucky GUMI can't seem to do much right lol.
I think their idea was to bring out other units of comparable strength to akstar in order to blunt the 'new meta' must have status. if there are 3 units all of about the same value for doing X, getting the specific one isn't so important anymore.
I think they just undervalued her LB and undervalued the other parts of her Kit that add to damage like imperil and imbue.
I'm happy for them to try and balance out the "1 unit meta till next unit 2-3 months down the road" thing. And I'm personally happy they did this so I don't have to spend for Akstar. The SE executive though can't be happy they basically missed an opportunity to drain everyone's resources then put out an OP unit right after.
Yeah, the "new meta" is supposed to be katanas, but there are not a lot of options. GS has a lot of 2h and elemental options and will continue to grow even with the TDW meta. Akstar is kind of screwed from the start. Also, I'm farming up Jecht TMR to give to Esther and give her even more tankiness! She's going to have like 15k HP, 600+ DEF, and almost 2.8k ATK. Crazy! So glad I pulled her!

The main thing I want for her is the GS bonus on the next IW. I have a ton of Katana stuff unfortunately, so I'm stuck with the basics for Esther (BS, Power of ID, War Goddess, and Heart Overcoming Hatred). If I can get a good roll with a rare, I can break that 2700 barrier.

Depends if you're counting time-limited STMRs as well. Bahamut's Tear is her BiS weapon for sure, but Cloud/Kloud's STMR is basically just as good.
DracuLasswell's STMR is also her best accessory (after her own TMR), so without that it could change things on where to get that last 50% TDH.
As for her rotation, it's basically just spam her LB. If it's not full, do Bolting Strike or Storm Calling (depending on your chaining family partner) to fill it, then LB so some more.

Same here. I have all the same, plus Vampyrism for another 80%. Esther just has so much built in, it take much less to max her attack out. The plus side is this should get use in 6 months or so when TDW comes out and I shoot for CG Bartz.

Assuming two Esthers (or Sylvie giving someone Bolting Strike chains), with a good enough % LB Fill buff (HI LOREN), I'd gamble I could get the remaining LB crystals to start LBing right on Turn 2.

I still have to get past gilga 2.0 and I've been having trouble with that. May try with double elly instead and just go the mage route to see if I can defeat it thru magic instead of physical.

Did Gilgamesh. Brought a magic tank the first time, because I'm a dummy. Second time I failed because Esther's LB damage was too low. I deliberately nerfed her and brought a shitty friend Esther because Sinzar's video had him accidentally bursting Gilgamesh down from 80%. Third time I overcompensated and did the same thing Sinzar did.
Man, that's a lot of energy pots I wasted today. That UoC ticket can wait for when I need it.

Yeah Asura is probably the hardest challenge in the game at this time. Maybe Dark Espers but that's more of a gear check then an actual fight mechanics thing.
