Cannot sign in on desktop

Just tried to open the forums, and had gotten signed out. Ok, not a problem, that happens.
Bit when I click the sign in, the window that should have the username and password spaces onlys shows a small window-shopping x.
Kinda makes signing in difficult...

And now I am signed in on desktop! I don't know what happened, but it appears to be fixed.

Just had the same thing happen. I thought it might be uBlock so I disabled it, but problem kept happening.

Cleared cache and now I'm in.

I have gotten this a couple of times too, Win 8.1, latest version of Chrome.

Happening to me too, forums.penny-arcade.com is showing as signed out with the little x window but https://forums.penny-arcade.com is signed in

Just happened again, looks like this. Had to shut down Chrome and reopen it to clear it. I can replicate the issue by opening an Incognito window and making it happen again.

Same behavior for me on Firefox. Fully closing browser and reopening worked though. No ad-block/noscript running.

In the meanwhile, you can try opening "Sign in" as a separate tab, or rightclicking to open in general.

This has been happening to me for about a week (Windows 10, Waterfox).
The workaround is that if I click "Register" it immediately recognized I should be logged in and I'm all good from there.

Same thing just happened to me on Chrome, switched to Firefox and the box was normal sized
