    Since this rings as more of a breakfast option, I wouldn't normally compare the two EXCEPT at the breaking of fast, bfast sausage is fine but I prefer bacon.

    If I can bring in any sausage to this party, sausage all day long. Give me some Texas-German beef sausages and I'll be the happiest fucking camper.

    Bacon, unfortunately, shows up in and on every goddamn thing, and has dampened it's universal appeal, in my opinion.

    You can make sausages with a vastly wider range of flavors than you ever can with bacons. It's not comparable.

    Now if you're saying you can put bacon in more things, yeah, I guess, but at that point you're just using it as a convenient combination of fat and salt, not because it's bacon.

    I assumed the poll meant what are you eating by itself, in which case bacon 10 times out of 10.

    Sausage is more useful as a product but bacon's better for plain eating.
