So what is the best/quickest way to get lots of void traces for making radiant relics? I got a lot of relics I want to crack, but am running low on void traces.
basically just cracking open other relics that you dont care about, and occassionally from alerts, though those are going away soon i guess. I dont think there is a really fast way of getting any.
Note that the relics that you get from the event aren't ones that you don't care about. Don't be one of those many, many people.
I mean unless you had everything from them I guess?
But the number of MR<10 people I see cracking those is... yeah
Can you elaborate on this? Why do I need to wait to MR 10 to open them?
I get the impression that they contain vaulted things that are hard to get now. So presumably you want to save up and spend all your void traces maxing them out to be able to increase the chances of getting the rare stuff.
But it's not like their contents take up inventory space. I can get a nikana prime hilt and a saryn prime blueprint and just hold onto them forever. Why does it matter if I'm lower rank or newer to the game?
Looking at them...I can't even complete any of the items from inside them. But as long as I don't just junk or sell what's in them I don't get the big deal.
You don't need to be MR 10 to open them.
But if you're under 10 MR the chances of you already having everything in them and thus not needing any of the rare blueprints and just cracking them for void traces is a little unlikely
This is the future. This is what we built. This is what we wanted. It must have been. Because we all had the fucking choice, didn't we? It is only our money that allows commercial culture to flower. If we didn't want to live like this, we could have changed it at any time, by not fucking paying for it.
So let's celebrate by all going out and buying the same burger. -transmet

I believe certain builds get up to about 957% increased damage for Chroma. It's definitely one of the meta frames for eidolons.
The other day on a PUG Tridolon, I was Trinity, and we had a Harrow.
Me: Woah. Why are there no Magnetic procs?
Harrow: ah, yeah, that's my #4
Me: ???????????????????????
A few days later, I level Harrow. I realize:
1. Indeedydo, his #4's initial phase makes you immune to... everything. Procs, damage, whatever.
2. After the initial phase is over, that gets converted into +crit chance.
Today, I carried a clearly n00b Tridolon PUG group with Harrow and a 111 amp. It was my second Tridolon with Harrow.
Group: Chroma (sure), Trinity (sure), Inaros (... okay, uh... what). Inaros hadn't done War Within. Chroma and Trinity were still packing Motes. I... am OK with a Trinity packing a Mote, but Inaros clearly shouldn't have been here at all, and Chroma, my dude, what the fuck.
Meanwhile, my UI: "30k Damage Prevented => 50% Crit Chance + 200% on Headshot"
It was, nonetheless, agonizing, and we got out with only 10 minutes to spare... b u t, with that team? Yeah. Now I know what it's like to carry in Warframe.
(It's frustrating, time consuming, and boring, mostly >>; )
PS: Do you know what's beautiful? Red crit shots from Vectis Prime on last phase Eidolon. On every shot.
You have been shown the righteousness of playing Harrow.
This morning before work I randomly did two alerts. Low level stuff, I think one was on earth.
Both times I was attacked by the stalker, first mission I got Despair and second I got Dread (though I already have Dread).
First I was like "oh cool" and then I googled Despair and found forum threads of people saying they've been trying for two years to get Despair with no drops and then I was like "OH COOL."

I've been playing for close to six years and still haven't gotten Hate to drop. I've had War, Dread, and Despair drop multiple times each, but no Hate.

It's always great when it happens in a group, because someone inevitably goes "OH MY GOD, AFTER SO MANY YEARS IT'S FINALLY MINE."
On the other hand, I suspect that the Brakk is a myth. Despite dozens of G3 kills I still only have the receiver.
Unfortunately Despair was with one other guy who was probably like MR2 and had no idea what he was doing and died several times and couldn't find his way to the exit so I had to wait out the timer.

I'm getting to the bottom of the barrel to try to scrape up MR xp, so I hit the derelict to farm some mutagen samples since I still need 35 mutagen masses to complete all the weapons from the dojo. Not as painful as it could be, but they are far and away harder to get than fieldron or detonite stuffs, especially since you can only get 1 or 2 from invasions instead of 3.
The new frames and weapons they've previewed for 2019 will be a big help...they're coming soon, right?

haha... they actually put that pack on sale when they brought the Stalker groupies back last month and I was tempted to buy it.
Daimar, have you already gone through the Zaws and stuff?
Mostly, I've been picking away at them so I think I only have 2 or 3 strikes left to go. I said to heck with getting the optimal parts and am just getting the handles and attachments whose ingredients are the easiest to get/I have the most of.
I could be wrong, but from my equipment tab it doesn't look like the different moa heads or k-drive boards give separate xp, so I may have to revisit those if it is just a display glitch and I really can get xp from more than the first one.
I also have the Fortuna amps left to build and level, but those are a slower pace since I feel cheesy if I go to Hydron and just stay in spoiler mode the whole time. The alternate is to go to spy missions and hack terminals as the spoiler, but that seems pretty slow once you get the amp to about level 15.

The moa heads do give mastery xp afaik, though I'm unsure of the k-drives.
edit: yes, per the wiki the different moa heads grant mastery xp after you gild them and level them again (like zaws and kitguns), as do the k-drives (they can't be gilded, so they give mastery xp like weapons and frames do)
So i finally just spent all my rep to get the vaykor hek, and this thing just explodes things. I havent even put a forma in it, but it still just blows things away. Because when youre just using quick melee with your primary equipped its slashes are really short and hitbox is tiny. Plus like its hard to even cut open a chest let alone an enemy. Where the other stances are more what i expect from a katana.

Stylistically I think its great. Functionally is where i dont like it. But i also dont usually run around with stealth frames so the finishers dont really matter much.

Can someone explain to me how the whole Dragon Key thing works, and the general protocol for finding/joining a group to do them? Especially you, Mesas, your Press 4 To Win IGNORES THE RIFT)
Basically you equip them in your gear wheel and they give you debuffs depending which one you have equipped. You can equip all 4 at once but will be pretty gimped. I imagine you can find people in recruiting chat for it. I just used rhino with a fully formad rubico prime and just did solo runs of the derelict capture mission. Rhino can equip all 4 without much of a problem. Just do the mission then search for the treasure room. Also you can scan kavats for genetic code ehile youre there.
Just remember to unequip the keys when youre done with the derelict, because it will debuff you everywhere.
