Can someone explain to me how the whole Dragon Key thing works, and the general protocol for finding/joining a group to do them? I'm interested in finally grabbing a few Corrupted mods, both for use and to sell on the Market, especially Narrow Minded so people stop yelling at me when I bring Limbo to Defense (I'm using standard range you nerds! Especially you, Mesas, your Press 4 To Win IGNORES THE RIFT)
If you're looking to find groups out of alliance you could set a filter for the recruiting chat tab to just show chat of people mentioning "derelict".
As for how they work, a while ago you had to bring 4 people with each person equipping one different dragon key to finish a derelict mission. When the mission objective was done, all 4 would begin scouring the level for the special door that can only be opened by a person who has a specific dragon key equipped on their gear wheel, for example the door may only open for someone with the Bleeding Dragon Key, so that person would need to click on the door then everyone could enter to pick up the corrupted mod. Currently, one person can equip all 4 keys if they want so it is possible to solo the missions if you can't or don't want to find a group, just make sure to bring something beefy or invulnerable with a good weapon so you can still survive and kill stuff with all the negative buffs of the keys acting on you.
The hardest part for me is just finding the damn door, the last few times I've done it I finish the mission then head for the extraction and work my way backward through the level since it is beyond frustrating to comb your way through a level and find out the door is in the same room as the extract pads.
I think only non-endless missions have doors, but I'm not positive about that since I have definitely seen one on the survival mission, maybe just not on the limited maps like defense or interception since it is too easy to find doors on those small maps. I just use capture missions since it is quick to complete
So basically Rhino or Inaros can solo this with a big enough gun and a beefy enough Companion, ye? And do Capture because after you do the objective in Capture you can basically do whatever you want?
That sounds like taking Limbo and simply walking around in Rift mode while looking around is probably the safest bet.
The problem there is that you do have to come out of Rift to capture targets (targets ignore cataclysm iirc, you have to leave Rift to Banish), and iirc there's still a bug where using Spoiler Mode will cause the Dragon Key to double up on its effects every time you go back in your Warframe.
Video I just looked up had a guy using Nezha, presumably so that he has a source of damage that's not weapons (since iirc the damage reduction key only affects weapons?)

Nezha is just fun and speedy with a tank about as good as Rhino's. It is the frame I used for running derelict solo. The damage reduction key isn't that big of a deal if you have a well modded weapon, basically anything you'd bring to the 3rd round of the sortie.
that forma is seriously huge for a lot of frames (and melee lovers) - awesome
This is the future. This is what we built. This is what we wanted. It must have been. Because we all had the fucking choice, didn't we? It is only our money that allows commercial culture to flower. If we didn't want to live like this, we could have changed it at any time, by not fucking paying for it.
So let's celebrate by all going out and buying the same burger. -transmet

Don't be completely reckless with it if you want to fit primed fever strikes or pressure points or similarly expensive mods on there, but yeah you really only need like three polarities for it.

Running the update right now. Will be on later. From watching a stream it seems that there are daily and weekly missions. Daily's reset each day and weekly resets every ~5 days. Up to rank 30 with standing points for each rank. Missions get you standing. It looks like you also get 1 point for each rank and the evergreens have various prices. 5 Nitain is 15 points (or 15 ranks if you save up). Slots and Forma are in the upper ranks.
Looks interesting. One of the rewards is to put 5 ayatan stars in sculptures and of course I went ahead and slotted ALL my sculptures day before yesterday after sitting on them forever ... LOL *cries softly in his own head*
It would be weird for 'weeklies' to reset every 5 days. It seems more likely it'll reset every Sunday. There are dudes popping up in my missions that I can capture for 50 rep each as well.
I'm a little lost on the lore for this though. They do a little panorama intro where they say the Wolf orchestrated an escape from a Grineer prison and is vaguely some kind of leader now, which I took to mean he was an 'enemy of my enemy' type of thing. But now I'm capturing prison fugitives for rep, which implies he's antagonistic. Unless they're fugitives from his gang and I'm sending them back to him? And I have no idea who Nora is or why she's rewarding me for doing these things.

Some of Nora's choice in words suggests she knows the nature of the Tenno kind of like the Quills do.
As for the Wolf, I think it's just a case where he was brutal enough to orchestrate a prison break from a Grineer ultra-max space prison and is now being a brutal fugitive.

I'm looking forward to umbral Nezha and Nidus, more particularly Nezha though because I've had to make some forma'ing concessions on my build.
Ok. Forget about Umbral forma. This is the real MVP!

Y'all, my Mag degeneracy has gone Super Saiyan. I was already liking Mag, but I think I've got her loadout pretty well tuned in now and it just straight up elevates her. The Lanka is an obvious fit for her primary due to bubble shenanigans but that left me reliant on my secondary and melee to cover everything else. I put Lesion in as her polearm with a Condition Overload/Healing Return quick melee fit on it to help cover her small health pool but the real clincher has been putting the Staticor on her. Running that as my actual primary while reserving the Lanka as a utility/bubble gun smoothed Mag's flow up a lot and lets me play a lot more confidently since I'm now not totally reliant on her powers to nuke groups now. That said, the interaction between Staticor Hadoukens and her bubbles is kinda funny.
Especially if I mod the Staticor for Gas procs.
You can put glyphs on your gear wheel and deploy them in mission.
Same. I had no idea that was even a thing. You'd think that more people would do that just for fun cause sprays and all that are usually spammed to shit in every other game.

I'm pretty sure that is new and will open up a whole lot of new builds.
*edit* I guess I could overwrite the polarization of two of the slots with this instead? And then swap positions?

Pretty much. You could probably place mods with the wrong polarities in there and it still would fit
Fuuuuuck, that's something.
why yes I will buy 4300plat

to be fair, we HAVE been indoctrinated to latch onto the nearest mother figure and do whatever she says / kill whoever she points at.

Hooooly shit, I got a 75% off coupon too.
It's like DE knew I haven't been logging in (and playing Destiny 2 instead...) for the last few months!
edit: To elaborate, having a challenge like 'Do X Captures' while lacking a way to search capture missions is a mild annoyance.
