Yes, it is that. it's also pretty spendy to make if you happen to get it: 4 forma, 10 nitain, 1 argon crystal

that's kinda neat. and I'd actually make and maybe even use one of those vs umbrals.

Well. Last Nightwave update. Good to know that Salad V got his ass handed to him.

So, lol, I've prolly 10+ years playing MMORPGs and cursing/praising/begging RNGeuses for drops. And this may be old hat for some of you, but it took playing Warframe and reading Warframe boards to know Its true name!

I curse you, Lootcifer, and all my time you demand as sacrifice!!

(I just saw this name while looking up good spots to farm Tellerium, and it made me chuckle).

Finally got Rubico Prime parts from all the relics. Must've done 15 of those R2 Meso or whatever before the BP itself dropped. Very excited to grab that out of the forge and get rolling.

I have everything for Limbo Prime too, but need to farm a bit of Tellerium to get that rolling. Was trying Archwing missions, but I'm gonna just roll through Ophelia, Uranus a few times and see how that goes.

Finally got to Marduk, Void too. Need to just settle in and farm that a bit to try and get axi relics for Zephyr Prime chassis. I just hit max rank in Cephalon Suda since Chroma Prime Chasis is easier to get, but I've maxed ranked in Steel Meridian four or five times over because I just can't get the ZP chassis to drop. I just cycle it into more relic packs, so its not a big deal but I am really looking forward to the Rhino Mods and Vaykor Hek. Someday....someday.

Edit: Wrong planet and various misspellings.

Indeed. He's out of his neckbrace and his space herpes has fully cleared up...

I guess it's time for him to get back in a neckbrace and have another space herpes breakout.

*edit* Just you wait, Nightwave Phase 2 will involve Alad V spawning in WITH the Wolf and you have to keep the Wolf from turning him into paste, and the community has to work together to stop this or they blow up a relay or something.

Okay, so I have a HUGE POST with TONS OF QUESTIONS.

So, like I said, I recently got back into the game and have been enjoying myself. But I'm trying to figure out what to actually do. Currently, I'm working on progressing all the main story quests, unlocking my operator, and getting to Eris so I can farm Nidus. BUT, I want to know what weapons I should look out for, or what I should be doing in between story quests and clearing junctions to planets.

In the spoiler below is everything I have in my inventory. Are there some of these I should dump? I'm mastery rank 8, and if I recall, the best way to level your mastery rank is to level weapons that you won't use, then sell them to free up slots, then make new ones, etc. Is this still true?

The frame I use most often is Mag, followed by Inaros. I'm working on getting my reputation with Perrin Sequence up, since I didn't know what I was doing and got to hated with both organizations that offer Mag Augments. I have a lot of stance mods (for almost all the weapons I have, except for Redeemer and my staff).

How do I get to the open world? Where do I get new Archwing stuff, since the stuff I have isn't great and also does the Archwing just suck? How come some people have their Kubrows and Kavats running around their orbiter when I visit them? Don't your pets slowly age and die? Should I forma weapons? I've used a few forma on my frames (namely Mag and Banshee to get the energy siphon slot to match).

When a mission shows a "quest level", what level is that referring to? Is it mastery? Is it my frame? How do I know what "level" of quest I can handle with my gear and mods?

Is there a PS4 Clan I can join? Who will give me a lot of platinum so I can buy decorations? Are there other ways to get decorations?

Also, how does Titania play? Do her ability visuals actually look like butterflies? Is she hard to unlock? Who else has bug visuals/abilities besides Nidus, Inaros, Saryn, and Titania?

The rule of progress in Warframe is, work on what looks fun to use "next".

You might not like it, but I wouldn't worry too much about open world until you complete the relevant starmap and story quests. The game flows better, and you'll likely have more fun because the open world stuff is easy to get "stuck" on and forget you still have a ton of "normal" stuff to unlock.

Oh and I just got bullet dance and made the Redeemer Prime even more broken.

Dump any weapon you don't enjoy. Hek, Soma prime, Galatine are keepers. Build and dump sentinels, I prefer carrier. You only get mastery rank the first time you level a piece of gear to 30, forma will reset the level but no more experience. 2 open worlds, Cetus to the plains on Earth, Fortuna on Venus. Archwing blows, you get the parts from the syndicates and the blueprints from the market, actual archwings come from the clan dojo. Pets no longer age and die. Forma the hek and galatine unless you just don't enjoy using them. Quest level and mission level show what level range the enemies will start at, if it is endless they will increase otherwise it is static. Use it to gauge level of difficulty, not your own gear. I am the head of the PS4 clan, give me your psn and I will invite, although anyone in the clan can invite. Decorations are almost purely through Platinum. The best way to get platinum is farm up rare relic drops and sell them on the market. There is a website for it or you can use trade chat, although you should check the site for prices.

Titania is not super powerful but she does have a cool kit and her razorwing ability can trivialize some parts of the game. She is not particularly hard to unlock but you will need to play at a variety of times to catch the day/night cycle on Earth. They are actual real butterflies yes. No other frames use bugs except those you listed although Oberon does have a nature oriented theme.

Personally, I dump any weapon or frame that has an upgrade like Prime or Wraith, unless it is used as an ingredient to make another weapon, so I would ditch the Soma, Quanta, Spira, Destreza, Fragor, Furax, Galantine, Glaive, Kronen, Redeemer and Tipedo. Not all of those have primes or wraith versions available right now, so you can hold onto them until you get the upgrades, but the lower level versions aren't worth putting a potato in or forma'ing. As for key weapons you're missing I would grab an Ignis or better, Ignis Wraith as that carried me through the latter part of the starchart and into sorties, though it does fall off a bit once you get to higher level stuff. Atomos is also pretty standard for working through the map.

I would be hesitant about putting forma on Mag since Mag Prime was just available a short while ago so you may be able to get parts for that on the cheap or through incidental relic cracking, but if that sounds like work then just plain Mag is fine to work with. I wouldn't forma Volt as Volt Prime is set to be unvaulted in a few days.

Trade the Prime Parts you have been getting while opening Relics for Platinum so that you can purchase Slots and keep more Weapons, Frames, and Companions. Those Prime Parts can also be traded to an ingame NPC for Ducats which is a currency for buying things from a specific NPC who shows up every couple of weeks with an inventory that has some pretty fun things in it.

If you want some heavy hitters the Kitguns from Fortuna faction rep are beasts.

Make yourself a Catchmoon/Haymaker/Splat or Tombfinger/Haymaker/Splat and stick Pax Seeker on them and never worry about not being able to clear a corridor as fast as you can move through it ever again.

Heavy time investment for that much rep though.

Oh yeah the dex weapons are generally useful to hold onto both because they are only available once a year, and they come with a reactor already installed. They are slightly better then the standard versions but an extra 30 mod points can boost them quite a bit when you are not rolling in blueprints for more reactors.

Also I don't have to friend you to add you to the clan, just toss you an invite. If you don't want to join us, since we don't really do much as a clan, it is still pretty vital you get into one ASAP as they are a huge source of weapons, frames, and gear.

Base Glaive definitely isn't the best of the bunch. But the mechanics may have changed a bit since Arch last played and be worth checking out for a little. Being able to do the glaive toss while wielding a one handed secondary is a bit of a silly trick but sometimes a fun one.

Also, how does Titania play? Do her ability visuals actually look like butterflies? Is she hard to unlock? Who else has bug visuals/abilities besides Nidus, Inaros, Saryn, and Titania?

    @Arch

You of all people need to get Titania asap.

She's a bit of a pain to get because her quest involves lots of plant scanning but you need to get her.

    This is imporant

Ash. His default face has mandibles and his alternate helms go further with the arthropod theme. One of his skins has mantis like claws on it too.

But anyone can have bug visuals with the Sari syandana.

Prime is supposed to look like a bee but everyone always thinks lobster.

Whoever made that design and thought bee has clearly never seen a bee or a lobster.

    Lucid_Seraph was warned for this.
I just want it to be known that @Darmak has good taste in Things, and also Stuff (are you sure we didn't play Heroes of the Storm once or something, dude?)

    Anyway he's a gentleman and a scholar.

This is also when I loudly and drunkenly remind the thread that I am, officially, an individual of mysterious and indistinct gender, and that regardless of what pronouns you wish to express that with, it is So (notably, I am NOT!!! an It [ABSOLUTELY NOT] [that is for objects, not persons], and I am preferably not a He or a She, dank u vel) (I try not to be too loud about it but every so often one must stand up for oneself).

*edit* I'm quite drunk on this Friday night, and I apologize. All of the above is true, of course; I'm just more willing to say it than usual.

Lesion was fun... and the Tipedo Prime was pretty interesting. Weeping Wounds is proving to really be my jam too.

Somehow manage to fight Shadow Stalker twice today, it's been months since I last saw that guy. He didn't drop Despair.

If you're short on space, before getting rid of stuff check here: Weapons required as crafting ingredients. Save yourself the annoyance of having to rebuild. If you don't like it or aren't a collector, you can really dump what you won't use. While Rivens can make unpopular weapons stronger, it's unlikely that they'd carry over something you have and put resources into making stronger.

Turns out a fully leveled Paracesis lets you fuck up the Wolf's shit. He was still a damage sponge since we were on Hydron, but my teammates weren't able to do much to him since we were all leveling other weapons and whatnot, so I just went to town on him. Luckily we had an Ivara who kept shooting us with cloaking arrows so the Wolf couldn't target us, otherwise we'd have probably wiped while trying to get him. And he dropped the sledge motor!

I was doing a relic run in the void, leveling Equinox and two weapons, when the wolf shows up. I was prepared for something tough as I had my synoid gammacor with me. This thing is sortie ready to put it mildly. So imagine my surprise when I was tickling the level 71 wolf for tens of damage per second. The rest of my team faired no better. DE lost their fucking minds with this guy. We were doing mobile defense so I just went ahead and finished the last 2 while my team distracted the wall o' hp. My first taste definitely did not leave me wanting more.

Shooting the wolf in the butt seems to deal more damage with high ROF low damage per shot weapons. Also the groin. but mostly the butt. Radiation and crits. Unless you have someone stripping armor.

If the other guys on your team don't have proper weapons, amps can hurt him a bit more (tell them to use them), 5k or so crits in the butt. 3k crits to the head using old meta amp.

Was on a run where someone said aim for his spine, but IDK if that works better or not.

I had a 111 amp and it didn't seem to do much more then my weapons. He just had a nearly infinite amount of health and armor. I mean sortie enemies break level 71 no problem but my stuff was tickling him.
