We are [Chat], we're the best, and we're going to win the war.
They Shall Not Grow Old opens with Peter Jackson awkwardly telling you he'll see you after the credits for a making of feature and ends with him awkwardly saying "Well that was the movie then", and the making of includes footage of his shed of WWI artillery 10/10
@Krathoon Yes, you should play warframe. The art is great, and I really like the setting of the weird future.
And the gameplay's pretty fun.
The grind is real, but, not really in your way unless you get real grabbed by it and eventually find yourself sitting there with drop tables all around you and wikiing shit. That's a risk, it happened to me, and I was initially just like "oh these environments seem really cool, Imma play it to look at them"
it's well worth trying out because it is fun from the word go. We're not talking like an MMO where you have to spend a lot of time getting out of bullshit starting zones.
there's annoying stuff - main one of those, that the amount of weapons and warframes you can have is limited by slots you can only buy with their funbucks, platinum, when collecting more of all of that is a big thing, is not insurmountable (you can sell stuff to other players to get the funbucks - with a very old school market chat type thing, but still) - and how, like, getting this one mod I need for the build I want with this one specific weapon can be an utter pain in the butthole
but those issues aren't going to come up for hours and hours and hours into it. So give it a spin.
two tips:
1. you have some Platinum that you start with, spend that on weapon and warframe slots. Also, if you're like me, an extended colour pallette because you love painting your dolls. I considered that a priority.
2. pick Excalibur out of the starting warframes, if you are at all interested in slashing everybody to fuck forever
2. pick Excalibur out of the starting warframes, if you are at all interested in slashing everybody to fuck forever
Also, excalibur is by far the hardest of the starting frames to farm for, so you can save yourself the most work by picking them as your starter.
I guess that too, although I'm trying to give the advice from the perspective "what makes the most fun from hour 1" rather than assume that the concerns of hour 1000 will be at all relevant
since my main point is yes you should play it because it is well worth playing even just two hours
I never really stopped playing excalibur, in a way
in that I got used to the ultimate 4th ability being "fuck you all you all get diced" and after that I've played basically just Valkyr, whose 4th ability is "fuck you all you all get sliced to shit also I can't die"

If you have a in the group Loki, you can do that with Excalibur as well since his 4 goes through the rift.

I play with pugs or, frequently for spy missions, alone, since spy missions are basically the only missions where people can fuck it up for you/you can fuck it up for others, instead of just being useful or useless
also it's a nice change of pace if I actually want to take in scenery and enjoy taking my time, one gets tired of people just blasting through stuff
EDIT: the being immortal while the ability is active part has saved so many missions from going to hell, though. I save my energy for when shit goes sideways, since I can then always revive people and maybe we can claw ourselves back from the brink.
I run Nova, myself. ~50% damage resistance via null star, huge debuff to all enemies with molecular prime, some of the best damage in the game with antimatter drop, and and even wormhole has some utility from time to time.
I’m watching Gordon behind bars, and The UK has the dodgiest prison design.
Like a shit load of blind corners, rooms without cameras, prisoners have unnecessary physical access to the guards. It’s all long cooridors.
We don't give a fuck about our prisons, as a whole. Like it doesn't really seem like an issue that pops up in the collective British consciousness at all.

Game is on behind me for me to ignore. The home made hamburger helper was so good but super filling.
I make so much hamburger helper, do you have a recipe for homemade?
I kind of made it up.
1 lb of hamburger
Peas
Fresh spinach
onions
salt, garlic, pepper to taste
Pasta (I use farfalle which are like bow tie pasta)
While getting the water ready I first cooked the onions in olive oil till translucent, added ground beef and browned. Peas and spinach are added last. This stays hot and cooking while I did the pasta. Drain pasta when cooked.
Sauce is a standard mac and cheese roux which if you haven't made one it is rather easy.
Butter
Flour
I used a sharp Wisconsin cheddar, an English cheddar, and some american for texture.
milk
Melt butter, add a little bit of flour and stir in to thicken. Add in the milk, heat up, add in cheese and melt to create a sauce.
Add pasta, then sauce. Mix. Eat. Not hard. A lot of it is prep work on stuff like cutting the cheese and stuff.
Its probably more work than actual hamburger helper but it came out real good.
Its not healthy btw. This has a billion calories. I am feeling sick so I up calorie intake.

I'm like Ocean's 11, if within ten minutes there was a hiccup and they went "oh shit" and just ram-raided the place with their van

Insightful
Props to the UK for making things that can't be made here, and it's a delight

(though I did like the Bud Knight, even if the overall premise was kind of silly.)
