Last time my empire team got wrecked by the basic event tier but now I'm finally able to clear the first 2 tiers. The 1st time rewards were sweet and im outraged it's not the every time rewards because I need a lot of murderbear shards

Man, I don't know what's going on today. I've 3* mythic before, but today I'm getting worked in phase 8 of both mythic and bonus.

I had trouble on Mythic this morning too.

Normally I auto the whole thing till the last stage, and do that manually.

Today my guys keep getting killed in the middle.

Anyone else having severe trouble applying Speed Down to Nihilus in the Sith Raid all of a sudden? I used to regularly apply it with ease with Rey right after his turn, now it is always being resisted.

Tier 2 only. This is with a 7* Canderous and HK, 6* Bastila and Juhani, and 5* Carth.

While admittedly my gear levels are somewhat low, this is going to be a pretty difficult event, relative to every other one.

I did get the 1st tier where you get to play fully powered revan done... So uh, I should figure out where to fit these OR farms in. I've already started carth and juhanni, and I think hk is my next squad store farm, so it's just how fast can I get to the rest then

Yeah I looked at my shard's top 50 last night right after the reward payout. First place guy is running Darth Revan. Everyone else in the top 10 is still running JK Revan.

Darth Revan is decent. Solid toon.

Hk47 is completely bonkers.

I trashed this dude's DR team, down to Revan and HK.

HK started one shotting people, and massively healing himself.

5 on 2 and I lost.

Before the HK rework, Ahnald T101 did a video with trying some various droid/Grievous teams. He found that an (old) HK47 as leader, with Grievous and some other droids was a really strong team. And that was 2 weeks ago before the rework. I'm hoping he does another similar droid video showcasing HK with the rework and a zeta.

If I made a Droid team now it would be hk, r2, chopper, t5 and ig-86.

I kind of want to grind a BB8 to make an "HK and the astromechs" team

Edit: it would be interesting to see how it plays, but stuff T3 z giving all droids 100% defense penetration makes it seem like it could be pretty alright.

Looks like a few more people in my shard have switched to Darth Revan. 5 of 10 are running Darth Revan now in my top 10.

I'm on the finish mission and t3 to get revan train. I'm going to be either ready for chewie 5* or not we'll find out, I'm definitely good for R2, hopefully set for CLS, no way on bb-8, and it's just revan that I have to push for.

Ugh, that feel when I need one more shard for Vader ship, and 4B hard is almost impossible and doesn't reward me with a shard. Every. Time.

Finish the imperial attack special event thing when it comes up, the one where you have to kill Vader and the Emperor in 8 waves. I often win Tie Advanced shards.

So my guild had dwindled down to about a dozen active players. A couple weeks ago we merged with another guild bringing things close to 30. We now at 50, running our first HAAT and first TW. We're running HPit and tier 6 Sith raid regularlly. I have so many guild tokens now, which is turning out to be great for gearing my hunters.

It's a pretty wonderful change.

Yeah it's on there once or twice a month. I don't want to waste crystals refreshing for it and hoping it pops up though.

I don't think so, a lot of them are far away.

I'm just gonna level up my ships and keep trying on 4B. Eventually I'll get there.

I have 4 geared leveled bounty hunters at 5* or more. I also have a g1lvl1 5* ig-88 and a g11lvl85 4* 17/65 bossk.

Is the event 5* doable with the random lvl1 5* or do I need to panic 5* bossk (the panic farming site says I can get there with 2 node refreshes a day until the event ends)

Bossk is pretty much essential for success in the Chewie event. For 3 reasons:
1) His payout for the team results in tons of health and shield recovery, which is essential in the higher difficulties.
2) His taunt will keep you alive
3) His payout is easy to hit

I was able to at least 5* the event with a Boba lead. I feel like Dengar is a big help early on. If you have him that will help prevent R2 from popping smoke on everyone.

I spent the last month or two working on buffing up my bounty hunter team. Tier 5 cleaned my clock only slightly slower than last time.

Time to start swapping some mods around and see what I can do.

In the end, it was Bossk vs R2 and Lando.

An ugly win is still a win.

And then I started panicking as I realized how far I am from the Falcon...

Chewie event is brutal, even with a well developed team. It is far and away the most difficultly tuned event in the game. And that is true at all tiers of difficulty. It's not surprising to hear people struggling with T5 and such.

My BH core team is incredibly strong and well developed. I have my core 5 all at G12. All of them are Zeta'd. All of them have decent mods. And I still had to restart like 10 times to get a winning run when I went for T7.

Yeah I assumed that it would be like other events where only t7 was hard. I barely cleared 4 and I'm not sure if it will be worth it to try to panic farm 40 bossk shards by event end to attempt 5

20+ retries cleared it.

Glad I had been hording Zetas shards. Dropped 3 and got my hunters a little more buffed.

Forgot that you need to be 7* to go G12, so I'm sitting on a sad 65/85, G11 with one yellow + Bossk.

Shit, I went I got Revan and 3PO second time around. Hunters were ready to finish Chewie. I started the push for Darth Revan...then I realized that after Chewie would be the Falcon.

XB just got to 4 stars and IG is just under.

If I'm lucky I might get the unlock...

I'm saying 80 shards out to get 5*. Hopefully I can run things. Been actually making pretty good progress the last week or so as I switch my focus from hunters to hunter ships.

I haven't even begun to work on Xanadu or IG2000. I'm about 40 shards away from 7* Hounds Tooth, but that's only because I am farming Jango and happened to get shards for HT.

I'm still working on Old Republic for Darth Revan and then after that, I'll probably focus on a sith team for Darth Revan. I probably won't be getting the Falcon in the next 6 months.
