At some point there will a Labo addition to build a sentient robot that will then ask you to buy a Labo kit for it to play with.

A sentient Labo robot would realize it’s never played with and recycle itself.

It's a shame that didn't translate over to the NoA testing department. All of the testers are outsourced to hiring firms and given 9-month contracts. Everyone was woefully underpaid and tossed away when their contracts ended, sometimes even before they were up. That always rubbed me the wrong way.
They can't just show us Executive Mario and not make it a downloadable costume in Odyssey.

You don't OWN a cat ... a cat OWNS you. Get it right ... you are just there to provide it food, shelter and to clean the litter box. It loves you because you serve it well.

On topic: I've heard my Switch fan kick in almost every day over the last week. I've never heard it before ... but from watching a SpawnWave video on Youtube I know that there is plenty of headroom with respect to heat before it shuts down. Still ... hearing it breathing hard after a few several hours of Warframe has made me question my priorities. Must ... Get ... More ... Standing ... ( > . < )

    MAR10 sales...https://www.polygon.com/deals/2019/3/8/18256066/nintendo-switch-mario-day-deal-games
Nintendo has embraced March 10 as a day to celebrate all things Mario. (Why March 10? Because MAR10.) This year, the company is offering a pretty sweet deal to go along with the festivities: 50 percent off a Nintendo Switch game featuring our mustachioed Italian friend with the purchase of a new Switch console.

The games discounted are Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. The Nintendo Switch console plus one of those games will be on sale for $329.98. That’s a savings of $30, or half off a full-priced game. The deal will be available at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart for the week of March 10-16.

Those who already own a Switch can still save a couple bucks on Mario Day; Nintendo is taking $20 off digital downloads of the Mario games listed above. That brings those five games down to $39.99, which is just about the lowest price first-party Nintendo Switch titles ever reach.

I might pick up a bunch of Mario games, I get my bonus next week

What is World of Final Fantasy? I know literally nothing about how it plays, what it is, etc. Is it actually an RPG, or some sort of mobile game they ported to console?

The very very very basic explanation is that it's Final Fantasy themed Pokemon.

Seems to be a JRPG. I guess the idea is that you're going through a bunch of worlds and content themed around Final Fantasy.

It's an extremely lighthearted and fun PokeFantasy game with gorgeously cute art design (that looks even sweeter with the slight depth of field/tiltshift effect they applied) that lets you journey through FF worlds (You start in Cornelia with Princess Sarah) capturing all the classic FF creatures from Chocobos to Ramuh with all the series regulars like Tonberries, Mandragoras and Cactuars in the middle.

I think it's cheaper on PS4 because the Maxima stuff is DLC, rather than included.

@OneAngryPossum I'm sorry but I need to move on from Dandara. Game started out mildly difficult and now it's just ramped up ten fold. I am just not good enough at this game to progress any further. It's such a shame because I love everything else about the game. But I'm over here shaking with anger because I'm not good enough... And that's when I just have to put it down.

Dandara is so close to being good. The art is amazing, and the idea is a smart one.

But it's just too easy to be hurt by accident. The game feels like it was playtested by people already familiar with the movement, so they didn't see how difficult it actually is.

Bleh. I had read this and gone straight to pick up Mario Tennis, but it turns out European eShop just has double gold coins instead of 1/3 discount. Wankers. I imagine if I get it on the american shop from an american account I probably wouldn't be able to play online on my own account, too.

Mechanically, World of Final Fantasy involves stacking together the two main characters with two other monsters each, having them (for the most part) act as single entities that share all of their abilities. Literally. You stack them. You can stack a small monster on top of a medium being on top of a large being, with the main characters being able to change their size between large and medium. Combat itself is fairly conventional, beyond some stuff with stacks breaking up if they take too many impacts, at which point everything acts independently until you restack them).

Monster growth works like in Kingdom Hearts 3D, with each monster having its own grid that you spend points to unlock nodes on to increase stats or learn new abilities. Monsters also often have the ability to change into different, usually larger forms with their own additional boards, with you having the ability to freely switch them between those forms in order to grab things that you missed or fit them into different positions on a stack.
