@NightArchaon: Yeah, the problem with Crackdown 3 isn't that it's a bad game. It's mediocre, but as more fodder for Gamepass it passes muster. The problem is Microsoft cancelled most of their other first party games so there weren't any other good titles to take the heat off of it, or even any other crossplats to draw media attention. Didn't help that Microsoft kept hyping it to investors and talking up the "power of the cloud" to manage the destruction (that turned out to be less impressive that Red Faction Guerilla).
For comparison, Knack 2 was also poorly reviewed, but because Sony's first party titles already had a lot of good entries and because the media hype was more focused on its niche, people were content to let it fade into the background instead of raking it over the coals.
We generally haven't seen destruction accurately synced in multiplayer though, that is what the cloud gets you, you can have real physics interactions online with this simplified destruction. The multiplayer is crap though so its a bit moot, but the tech does have some advantages.
