    clear.gifThere was an NPR segment on animal cruelty this afternoon. They were interviewing a forensic vetrinarian from Georgia, where it is apparently a felony to harm animals.

    Sadness follows - beware.

    I was all surprised that Georgia had that law, then the vet started talking about this case where a puppy was hog tied and gagged with ducktape, covered in paint, lit on fire with limited success and then put alive into an oven where she eventually perished.


    I had to turn the radio off.

    Hehe, I'm actually a Mets fan living in Atlanta and my Dad is a Braves fan, as are my roommates. It's quite fun wearing a Mets jersey to Turner Field (although it was a lot more fun last year =/ ).

    I went with the 30 gig model that has longer battery life because even with a 60 gig, I wouldn't be able to fit my entire CD collection, so once I realized cuts would have to be made I figured I'd just make bigger cuts and enjoy over twice the battery life.

    decided against the A2 because I just didn't need all the video support. It's very cool, but just not what I need right now.

    I hope to make the trip out to Turner Field at least once in my life.

    That screen they have in center field looks ridiculously large even on tv.

    Man, that puppy story was fucked up.

    Did you guys see the court-room footage, where the prosecutor was trying to demonstrate how they tied the puppy? It made me want to cry.

    So I always enjoy looking at the spam MySpace friend adds I get, looking to see how many people have approved them and who leaves comments and such. I thought this particular picture comment was good.
