Man, the only thing I remember from last night is Janson talking about engagement rings, and something about grunge music.

What's a good comic series to get into? I've never really been into comics, but always wanted to be. Anything currently running that's any good?

Post it in the Writers Block if you want poop.

I plan on never going there so I will pass.

If you want to get into something relatively recent, Punisher War Journal is a fair choice. The first trade paperback just came out, although the monthly issues are still in the middle of a story arc.

So here is basically what I have at the moment for my english assignment.
To believe or not to believe; that is the question:
Whether ‘tis nobler to ignore such childish thoughts,
The bogey man in the closet or the monster under the bed.
The random gust of wind was just a breeze,
The drop in temperature just in your mind.
Or do we give into these thoughts,
Cloves of garlic on our night table
And packs of salt in our pockets.
Are we lying to ourselves with these thoughts,
Trying to hide from reality, the truth.
Maybe there is something more than meets the eye.
    Aye, there’s the cold rub.
The howl during the night of a full moon.
The scratches you hear in your house at midnight.
Is it so bad to dream, to wonder, just what if?
When the lights start to flicker,
You start to see your breath in the cool air.
It is hard to not believe.

i was disappointed with Diwan II because Rachid was was like the angry child of rai after Tekitoi but then he went back to being more subdued

it's so hard to find good rai with more contemporary influences and i'm not really hardcore into the gentler stuff

tc;dr-- everyone should listen to Rachid Taha, and people who have listened to any rai or Franco-Algerian music in general should recommend me higher energy stuff than the more mainstream Chebs put out
