    Hmmm, so I'm interviewing a candidate soon and I have no idea how I'm going to handle it or really evaluate him. He seems to have A LOT of experience and knowledge in stuff that is like 1/3rd of my job, but has 0 experience in the other 2/3rds. I don't think it's stuff that'd be hard to learn (although I probably just think that because I know it) but it just seems like a weird fit but I want to at least give the dude a shot. I guess I'll just try to run him through normal technical questions for the other 2/3rds stuff and see if he prepared for it even though he doesn't have any actual experience.

    Meanwhile, a couple of krill are in the midst of a swarm. Will is an adventurous and existentialist krill determined to discover what lies beyond the swarm. His boyfriend, Bill, reluctantly follows him to ensure his safety. Once separated from the swarm, Will and Bill realize that krill are at the bottom of the food chain, created to be eaten. Inspired, Will ventures out to evolve and "move up the food chain" by eating a real creature instead of being eaten.
    Ignore the writer saying they weren't gay.
    It would seem even the humble Antarctic krill are not safe from accusations of same-sex bonding, with one New York movie reviewer taking umbrage at the unsavoury behaviour of a pair of krill featured in Happy Feet Two.

    The two tiny krill Bill and Will, voiced by Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, were accused of attempting to engage in and pursue a same-sex relationship. This observation came as something of a shock to myself, as I was a co-writer of the film and the author of the krill scenes, and so found myself tagged as one member of an alleged conspiracy of liberal animators, engaged in the "subliminal same-gender reinforcement" of America's youth.

    Personally, what consenting adult krill get up to in the privacy of their own swarm is not my business, but for the record, the crustaceans in question were not, in the mind of this writer, in any way embroiled in what might be interpreted as a gay bromance.
