Eh, that draw was going to be bottom of banner stuff no matter what banner you drew on, can't beat yourself up about that. At the very least, that's the best LM Rikku has yet, and you'll be using it with her chain. That's also the best LM Edward has yet, if you have or ever get any of his SBs.

Started going through Torment Part 3s.
Got FFV in 42 seconds. Wanted to see if I could push it, so I made Tremor Assault and Legend Dived Kelgar. 38s. That last 9 is going to require still more tech, I guess.
Even with a decent team, these are still monster time killers to learn. Slow and steady, I guess.
Tried to improve on my FF8 clear at 38s with some new tech, but I didn't save my clear, and can't reproduce a kill. Uh oh. Bad times ahead.
Gotta say, the Record of Heroism missions are quite well crafted. And the Kefka fights at the end of the Royal Archives gave me the same sense of dread and awe that I got the first time so many, many years ago. A+ content.
So I redownloaded this after about a year and am a little overwhelmed. I went ahead and grabbed all my free draws. I ran through all the mithril levels of the V event. And I've just been grinding out realm dungeons with all my stamina. I tossed one pull at banner 3 and got Riku's CSB. Got about 200 mithril left and someone on Reddit said banner 4 was a good one so I'm thinking of tossing a couple at that one.

@Carpy if you don’t have any of the other chains on this banner you should pull again here.
Yeah, chains are a real useful tool for top end content, and this banner has 3x as many as any banner we've seen. You can grind out more mythril before banner 4 goes away

Gen2 holy MAG (good get!)
Gen1 fire MAG
Gen2 water PHY
So you've got 2 of the 6 on the banner. The others are gen2 fire phy (but on a hybrid character), gen2 lit phy, and then realm chains which are based off realm instead of element.
That's honestly getting to where you don't necessarily need to pull - you've got fire already, so would Vincent's is an improvement it's not a huge one, and realm chains are a bit harder to make good teams around.

Who's better at supporting their chain, in a vaccuum?
I guess it depends upon whether you have another Celertiy user who wants Flash Disaster, or another Thief who wants Storm Assault. Faris can also debuff via thief or dance, which sets her apart from Zack.
...Yeeeah I'm probably not gonna try for the current banner a second time. Grinding out all that shit under a time limit for a roll of the dice is not a good way to spend a Sunday.
If you don't have crit chance cheats, Faris is definitely better. If you do have crit chance but not crit damage, Zack is probably ahead. If you have both (Ignis, or Tyro plus Elarra), it's back to Faris.
Faris also has the option to wrath entrust if you want it.
Ok, I think I finally have Syldra consistent, runs about 25s on the timer. It'll fail if I mess up any action, but my pattern is relatively simple, there are lots of basic actions happening all the time so there are generous input windows, and I think I've internalized the one spot I have to delay an action.
I should probably farm like 20 of them before I lose the muscle memory.
Team is still Squall chase USB plus AOSB, Elarra USB, Fran USB, Serah chain, Sora Awakening. 100 Magia of Atk on everybody, Elarra has enough MND to get to 600 (super important), then some extra HP for Elarra. Slightly excessive defenses on my magicite, too.
I should probably try going back to Syldra now that I have Elarra, for MAG boons. Her USB provides so much freedom in what the team can do, such that the fight would probably run smoother now.
Ugh, festival time is a bad influence on my resolve to not use money. I grabbed some gems to do 100-gem pulls on the remaining festival banners, and the first result was just a reminder that that's bad and I should never do that.
I'll still use the 200 gems I have left, but I'm just going to go and remove the thumbprint thing from payment on this phone. Add a disconnect between thought and action there.
I managed to get both AASBs in 5 pulls, along with more Rosa LMRs than I know what to do with.
