The Big Shaman deck they made is legitimately great:
The sore points with Whizbang are pretty much:
1. Neither of the Warrior decks are bomb decks. This sucks. They're good decks, mind you, but it's seriously disappointing that they didn't even make their own bomb deck.
2. The Priest decks suck.

This is what happens when Bomb Warrior runs up against Token Druid as well. Token Druid gets a full beefy board really fast.
Apparently Wild now also has a Big Warlock. It's not nearly as consistent as Giants was but the highroll potential is pretty crazy (not my screenshot):

I generally don't have a problem vs token druid as bomb warrior because I aggressively mull for dynomatic/warpath/brawl/boom hero
I'm not afraid to slam/shield slam 2 health things just to keep the board clear

Oh, something I learned last night in an Arena game (hilariously enough through Kabal Courier fetching me Arch-Villain Rafaam, getting me the new Hagatha villain card)
If you cast Witch's Brew through the Horror Hagatha creates, it is NOT repeatable
Spells cast through the Horror Hagatha creates do NOT count towards card count for something like Edwin VanCleef (though reading that one more carefully it makes more sense)

Clawed my way back into rank 2. 14-11 with the current deck. Not doing as well against the control warriors as I was earlier (5-1 yesterday). Suspect their decks are more refined. 3-2 against Druid, 2-0 against hunter and 3-1 against rogue is where I am gaining. 4-6 against warriors almost all of which have been slower decks than mine.
Token druid seems strong. Missing a crystalsong portal but still 5 - 0 at rank 4. Low sample size, though.
Hm, maybe I'll try Token druid tonight. I think the only major thing I'm missing (from the deck I'm looking at on HSReplay) is Keeper Stalladris. How crippled is the deck without him?
Nice to have. Run another 1 drop instead like squire or the kangaroo bot.
I was thinking about running another 2 drop like the 2/1 rush beast that poops out a 1/1 murloc when it dies. I let the deck builder pick my final card and it went with Tending Tauren (6 mana 3/4 choose one to buff minions or spawn treants). I'm not sure if I want another high cost card like that but it is another possible board buffer/token creator.
The Murloc pooping Boar (whatever its name is) is really really good. I've grabbed tons of them for my arena decks. I think its future is as bright as Fire Fly's.
i've started seeing a lot of minion mages and they are a pretty hard counter to bomb warrior because they have wayyyy more fatty minions than the warrior has removal

Yup, that was another one of the solid counters I ran into last night trying to get 2 win with Warrior. Apparently there are some solid decks vs. Bomb Warrior and tons of people at rank 6 are playing them.
Been messing around with Deathrattle Mech Hunter. It's a lot of fun, but probably not too good once the meta settles down. Once strange interaction I noticed is that Necromechanic will activate Deathrattles even if she dies at the same time. I had her on board and played a Mechanical Whelp into a Doomsayer, figuring I'll be fine with a 7/7, but I got two 7/7s instead. Did not expect that since you don't get the same result with say Cult Master in an AoE effect.
But you know, small indie company and all that.

That guy who casts a spell at the end of turn casts the "choose one" randomly, instead of actually casting the one you casted.
Also, dragon paladin seems interesting, with that insane 3/2 dragon that gives you TWO 4-4s.

Good lord Underbelly Angler carries Murloc Shaman
I had run out of steam and was topdecking with 2-3 minions against some sort of control warrior in the brawliseum, they had a Safeguard, Witch's Cauldron, and Cairne up, I held rather than played a Bluegill Warrior, next turn pulled an Angler. That created a Tidecaller, and then a Toxfin, and then another Angler, and suddenly I had a board again
and then next turn I drew bloodlust

Sludge Slurper is also really good - T1 was that, coin, Lackey that summons a 2-cost minion, which left me with a 2/1, 1/1, and 2/3 on turn 1
Unsure what I think of this meta yet. Feels very snowbally.

I don't have any Crystalsong Portals or Whispering Woods, so I took advantage of the Treant party and tossed in two Mulchmunchers and a Treespeaker and then added a Mark of Nature for another Stalladris play. It feels stable.
Vargoth + Blessing + Blessing with a full board works as good as it sounds.

Hmm. I've got two Token Druid lists: one hybridized with Hand Druid so I can run both Mountain and Sea Giant, and another focused more on reliably activating Crystalsong Portal. I think I'm going to tweak the second to look a lot more like this list.

Playing in Wild with this weird Aggro Mech Bomb Warrior deck I just created (its 7-1 right now, fwiw).
I'm up against a Mecha Jaraxxus Warlock. I have a slow start but get Wrenchcalibur out with a couple swings then drop Iron Juggernaut and build my board from there. He clears it a few times, but my Kor'krons are doing damage and weapons are going to his face. He gets down below 12 and I expect to start seeing giants. But they never come. Instead he drops Reno and follows it up with Zola targeting the Reno.
Except his health never went up. Because there are two bombs in his deck.

Have yet to do any combo with him, think he's not that important. Have been running all the treant summoning spells. The 8 mana twinspell is SO GOOD. Is treant aggro druid a thing?

Hey guys, a reminder for free-to-play players or just people who want to be smart with dust.
This information flew mostly under the radar during card reveal season so making sure you're aware.
There's a secret Legendary called Zayle the Shadow Cloak who's not in the game yet. He will be added with the PVE content.
Zayle is a "Whizbang" type Legendary. If you put him in your deck, he'll queue up a random "Villains" deck for you. No idea what the villains decks are at this moment in time.
You get a golden Zayle for clearing all the PVE content.
You can also craft a normal Zayle with dust without buying any PVE content.
Zayle will not be obtainable through normal pack opening.
The PVE content is really fun, but I'm pretty sure as far as getting cards goes, it's a worse deal than straight up buying packs.
Thus, if you're really trying to maximize dust-to-playable-deck ratios, the technical smartest thing to do is to craft a normal Zayle for 1600 dust.
So it might be smart to sit on 1600 dust for the time being, until the PVE content is patched in.

That golden zalye actually makes the value difference. 2800 gold -> ~2800 dust and 12 packs, 1 golden pack, 1 golden legendary -> ~2800 + 1 golden pack, so technically the SP content is worth it now. The extra 16 packs give you on average a random legendary and 3 epics, but a legendary of your choice is probably better
