I dunno, I thought they were just doing that for flavor. Like a real earthquake, there's the initial shock and then the weaker aftershock.

edit: i mean they did do a similar thing for Meteor, right. like why on earth was it 15 damage? flavor, mostly! and so that it could kill even something like say, Ultrasaur, which had 14 health!
You got jade golems, you've got bunny hoppers well my brawl run was with Haggatha and I picked the passive that cuts your cards to half mana but you can only play two per turn. I dopplecopied Mistcaller so I had 18 3 mana mistcallers. I feel bad for the bosses.
Also playing shudder after a bunch of mistcallers is hard on the ears.
I got a golden Bronze Herald for sub one hour and a golden Recurring Villain for sub 40 minutes. It's most likely a random golden Rise of Shadows common and a random golden Rise of Shadows rare.
Played VS's murloc list up to Rank 1 Wild this morning. It's not as fast or as unfair as Kingsbane was, but Call in the Finishers into Everyfin is pretty close. It absolutely stomps any slow deck that isn't Warrior but it does struggle with Even Shaman which might pose problems later.
15:01 is my new best time. And I know I could have gone about a minute faster if I cleaned my play up a bit. Luck factors in a lot, but there are things I could have done to go faster.

After never hitting Rank 5 ever since the launch of Hearthstone
I've hit Dad Legend (in Wild) three months in a row thanks to Cyclone Mage. I've tried to make the push for Legend, but either the deck can't do it or I'm still not good enough at the game. Closest I got was rank 2.
A new Lackey will be added to the pool in this expansion.
Reborn minions don’t lose the keyword after dying (so cards that effect Reborn still affect them) – they just have a visual indication that it’s active/inactive (like Divine Shield). Reborn minions do not retain any buffs and the second part of the minion counts as being summoned.
Upcoming PvE content will be similar to The Dalaran Heist, but with a “few twists in the store”.
There are no plans for any more card changes before or at the Saviors of Uldum launch.
That said, devs want to keep an open mind and make a more frequent card changes in necessary. They were very happy with the Rise of the Mech event buffs.
Quests in Uldum are generally weaker, but easier to complete than the Un’Goro ones. They are designed more around the mid-game than late-game.
Devs feel that Zilliax is in a good spot right now despite being played in almost 2/3 of the decks.
Divine Spirit is one of the cards they look at that might warrant changing in the future, because it restricts design space in Priest. E.g. because of this card, they can’t print too many good, high health Priest minions, or they will be abused with DS + Inner Fire.
Barnes‘ future is still unclear. It’s a card that makes Resurrect (Big) Priest in Wild and they don’t want to kill the deck. According to stats, the deck is not oppressive, unlike something like Kingsbane Rogue (before nerf), which invalidated most of the Control strategies.
Devs might consider adding new keywords to the Classic set
One of the reasons why they like Priest not having a powerful board clear in Classic set is that they can add a different flavor to it every rotation. It’s much more difficult with Mage, which already has strong board clears in Basic/Classic.
There are plans to continue creating new “content” to fill the downtime between expansions, such as events.
There MIGHT be some room for “smaller” releases (5-40 cards) between expansions. But it’s unlikely that they will release more cards per yer for both complexity and cost reasons.
It's good to know that they are recognizing the 4-month gap between expansions is too long to go without freshening things up.

[edit] actually wait, if the minion dies before all the bees are used up do you just keep the bees? if so, that might actually be good enough.
Did it in 32 min. Just shuffled bombs in the whole time. At one point, because I took every bomb bucket, I shuffled 8 bombs in one turn (elek+power+minion+weapon) and then of course they drew none of them the next turn.

These... I like these. Bees is a tokeny token card had I ever seen one.
My hot take on Bees is that it's a really good card for the cost. Druid has some tools already to make those Bees 2/2 when they come out, and summoning 4 minions on T3 is pretty good stuff.

So what’s the reward scheme for this event? If you’ve won once under 40 minutes are there any more rewards?
More importantly do you need to win between 40 and 1h to get that reward? Or do you get it if you win a few under 40?

Anything under 40 gets you all of the rewards.
Edit: Next week you can apparently get a Golden Rafaam’s Scheme. Yippee.

Yep. Boom + Curse of Rafaam is pretty killer. I don't think anyone lasted past T6, and I almost never had a board to speak of.

The problem with both of those is the effect takes a long time and wastes time if your trying to hit the 40 min timer.
Plus I play exclusively on mobile, so I'm just fucked anyways.
