Even though I was already going to upgrade my PS4 to the 5, if I was on the fence, Ratchet and Clank and Horizon 2 sold me on the system by themselves. :heartbeat:
Every one of those overhanging corners is going to be broken off within a week.
I hope it can lay horizontally. There's no room for something like that in my tv stand if it doesn't.

A lot of neat games, but nothing that made me want to get a PS5 right away.

So that Spider-Man reveal has to just be an expansion of the original game....there was no 2 attached to it and I'm sure the second game can't be ready by now.
Honestly I won't be surprised if this is literally just games and nothing about hardware (maybe some more detail on back compat), let alone an actual price or release date
...well, taking out the disk drive is one way to drive down the price. And most of the world is actually ready for it now.
I'll never be ready for it. There are perks like not having to swap discs, but I've learned some hard lessons on the digital games I've downloaded. They are priced like full-priced store-released games, you can't resell them, and if you don't like them, Sony says get fucked and keeps your money.
I would get the PS5 at launch for Spiderman and that Devil Inside game. If the digital edition is like 100 bucks less that's a no brainer and I bet it'll be the most popular model.

It’s weird, because the Digital Edition, lacking a key feature, seems like it would be cheaper. But it also necessitates additional storage, which is probably more expensive than a disc drive these days when you’re operating at the speeds that Sony is talking about.

My guess is more an upgrade to the engine and stuff. I bet it will have a full length story though.

Oh right, and we haven't gotten any indication it'll get more storage to make going diskless more convienient.

With PS4 all the games, disc or digital, are installed to the hard drive. I don't see that changing for the PS5, so it's the same amount of storage either way.

Overall...it was...okay.
A few titles I'm excited for, a lot that look like launch fodder, and I'm still not a fan of the white design clashing with all my other electronics.
I'll wait to see if there is anything else that catches my interest down the line but I'm still cool on it for now.

I'm sure there was more that piqued my interest.
